Question Anyone subscribe to "Refund Express" or another refunding magazine?

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

Anyone subscribe to this mag? I'd like to get some opinions before I consider signing up.

Thanks!

Melissa

Not me.
But my mother has subscribed to Refunding Makes Cents snail mail mag for just about forever. It's great if you have no computer to keep you up to the minute on deals. To be honest, by the time she gets it I can read about deals I already did 2 months earlier. But she continues taking it for the entertainment value. She like reading about how everyone did the deals. Me too. I'd probably take it if I could afford it. It is also on line and the on-line site is very up to the minute. To view the member only area you must subscribe, but there is a public home page you can see. [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

I get both. I enjoy them both...however, I like refund express better because it usually has more in it than refunding makes cents and also because it is Bi-monthly which means I get it twice a month instead of just once a mounth like RMC. So I get deals more often.

They are both great magazines though!

MrsLisaP, I've only seen the RMC mag, never the RE one. I didn't know that RE came twice a month. Twice a month might mean it was more "current", if you know what I mean. Is it expensive? Do you get enough out of it to "make-up" the cost or is everything in it generally found on-line? I'm actually interested in the idea, but my budget is non-existant so cost is kind of important you know.

I get enough out of RE to make up my cost. You also get access to their online site, which is great. I find it to be more current than RMC.

You can get first or second class mailings (first class comes in about 2-3 days, second class is like a week or so)

You can get 6 months for $11.95 or $19.15 depending on mailing options you pick. You can also do one year, 18 months, 2 year or 3 year subscriptions.

I own a coupon/refuding site myself and find both mags to be really great tools! I like them!

Now the 6 month sounds like a possibilty. Do you get something for referring? If so let me know and I'll do it right.

Do you guys know of a good online source for some of these deals? (a free one lol) I've never really done any refunding and I'm not sure if it's something I'd stick with or get a lot of use out of. I'd like to "try before I buy" if you know what I mean.

I love to do refunds and it's like a game to me to see how cheaply I can end up with a product using sales, coupons and rebates, and I always do the drugstore programs such as Eckerds and Walgreens. However, the main problem I have with individual rebate offers is in finding the required forms. Stores don't seem to have the bulletin boards with pads of forms like they once did. Do these mags have forms you can clip out, or do they just outline the deals and you find your own forms? Would be well worth the price if they supplied some forms.

Well, the forms all say they cannot be reproduced, so of course the mags can't reproduce them either. But you will find ads from people offering them in trade.

Haven't signed up yet, at RE earlier today the window to accept payment wasn't working.
..uumm anyway I have noticed we can Preview the July/Aug issue and I saw something that mentioned the upcomeing Sept/Oct issue. That looks to me like those dates mean it comes once every 2 months rather than twice a month. ??????????

Refund Express comes once every two months, not twice a month. It used to be once a month but changed some months ago.

Re: Anyone subscribe to "Refund Express" or another refunding magazine?

Yes I have. I have Refund Express which is good. Because i trade stuff and i win things also, from that magazine.
The other magazine i have right now was called [ Refunding Makes Cents ]. But, know it is called Refund Cents and I don't think I would use this magazine.
I really think this Refund Cents has changed since I last renewed my subscription.
