I signed up with FreeWay.com and have been using free long distance calls for over a year now. After signing up, they issued me an 800 number and a password. Everytime I need to make a call, I just dial the number. The catch is that I have to listen to advertisements. For every 15 sec. ad I listen to, I receive 2 min. of free talk time. Pretty nifty if you ask me!

I think the actual name of the site is [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

I signed up with them a while ago and actually tried my first phone call today. For each ad you listen to, you get 2 minutes worth of free phone time. The ads are actually pretty short-I was surprised. You just dial their 1-800 number and punch in your password number. After you listen to each ad it will ask you if you want to listen to more ads or place your call. When you're done it will connect your call and you will get however many minutes that you earned. You can use up to 2 hours each month. The only downside that I could see is that you should make sure the person you are going to be calling is available or else you will have to do it all over again.

It's just that they call themselves "freeway" on the phone, so that's what I thought it was...[blush]
