| WOW! I was just getting ready to put this in the stinky deal forum cause not only did they refuse the order but they took a week to tell me, also i know several people who had their orders canceled and staples never apologized or offered any compensation. |

The best deal i think ends up being a steal where they actually owe YOU a few cents. Also vitamins.com being able to get 25.00 for 50cents and this was for a variety of items not just vitamins.

The whole Staples mess took place a little over a week ago. A couple coupons which were good for $10 and $20 off purchases of $10 and $20 got out to the general public. Many sites, ours included, posted the coupons thinking they WERE for general consumption. Well, to make a long story short, Staples lost their behinds on the deal. As soon as we heard from them, we pulled the codes from our site. Wow, did they get bombarded. In fact, it made CNet as a news story. Here's the story! Either login above or Register Now] It's fascinating reading and really opens up a line of discussion about how merchants should make discounts available, and what they should do when things do not go the way the intend.
