Free Amazon for AT&T Online Billing

AT&T had an offer 2 months ago to sign up for online billing and receive a $25 gift certificate to amazon. They said allow up to 3 weeks...it has now been 9 weeks, and I've not received my certificate. Has this happened to anyone else? I keep getting the run around through e-mails, and I can't wait to cancel as soon as I receive it!

PLUS, on the site now, you receive $30 in amazon certificates if you sign up for online billing and pay with your Master Card!
It says to allow up to 2 weeks to receive your certificate....something is fishy here!!

That is a link to the FCC (Federal Communications Commission). Try filing an online complaint with them, detailing the offer and AT&T's lack of responsiveness to your complaint. I filed with them against Southwestern Bell two months ago, and suddenly the problem that SWB couldn't help me with was resolved. Hope this helps.

The same thing happened to me, only I did not wait as long on mine. After not receiving mine after 3 weeks., I emailed them. They said that they would have to resubmit it because I should have rceived it by then. I had it in my email about 2 weeks later.

Signed up with AT&T long distance back in Aug. 2001. Still haven't got the $50 super certificate promised. After several emails back and forth, you cant' believe anything they tell you any more.

Thank you for the tips....I definetely e-mailed them as soon as the 3 weeks was up...I've e-mailed them probably 4 times now, and they keep replying with a different answer each time. I'm sure they would be just as understanding if my phone bill was 9 weeks late! lol!

Thanks for the link to file a complaint. I will definitely have to do that, because I signed up for on-line billing in APRIL (!!!!) and STILL have not gotten my $50 GC from giftcertificates.com! I have called them numerous times, and I also keep getting the runaround. I am off to file my complaint NOW! Thanks!

I signed up for the AT&T online billing about 1 1/2 months ago, and my Amazon gc came withing a few days... But I will say that this is one of the FEW times that I've actually had success with AT & T in the past few years!! I switched to Sprint once, hoping for a better offer from AT&T-- got nothing! But when I moved I went back to AT&T, since they're rates were the best at that time. IMHO, their service is haphazard at best, especially when it comes to calling cards (the kind that are separate from your home phone line-- mine was with their special "military plan," and they kept charging me a monthly fee after my acct was supposedly terminated!!). I signed up for ATT online billing about 10 days ago and they were offering a $25 gift certificate rather than $50 that I see most people on the forum are mentioning. they sent me the GC about 2 days ago via email to use for amazon.com.

A friend signed up the same day I did, and received her certificate that very day! Seems there is no rhyme nor reason to their madness! LOL!

Signed up with AT&T long distance in November, received $50 Sears gift card three weeks later. Siged up on line billing in January this year, received $25 Amazon certificate in 4 days. I think I am just lucky

When I joined the At&T online billing it was for $25.00 Amazon GC, after a few weeks I was emailed the cert but didn't get the online billing, when I called cs and finally read their emails (oops) I had to sign up again. I received another $25.00 to Amazon. Funny. Too bad for them right after that I switched to MCI.

So my advice is sign up again, who knows might get double the promo....

I also signed up for this deal. I rec'd my GC with no problem. It took about 4 weeks. Sorry for everyone luck on this one.

I saw the $30 offer tonight...I didn't read where it said you could only get it if you used your MC.Anyone else see/not see it? Anyone else use a Visa & receive this after all?

I never had to use my credit card for the deal that I signed up with.

I did the 50.00 supercertificate promo. I had to call them several times, but after 7 months I finally got the issue resolved. Oh, every time I called, I did get 1 hr. of free long distance. I got a lot of free calls!!
