ABC Distributing Bites!

2 years ago I did most of my holiday shopping thru ABC and waited & waited for my order. There was no way to track it. Calls were not being returned. I started sweating that all my gifts wouldn't arrive. Every once in a while i'd receive little white postcards notifying me of certain items status. The items I did receive weren't really a deal at all since the quality was poor. I toss all their catalogs since they've neglected to remove me from their mailing list after numerous letters stating my disappointment and removal request.
IMHO, I could do without the frosty Mrs. Clause hairdo by eliminating the grey hairs I received while doing business w/ this company.

I do business with LTD - who sells pretty much the same product. I've been very pleased with them. I've thought about trying ABC - but now I guess I'll just stick with LTD! I've never had a problem with them.

You would think that their prices are pretty decent if you looked on their website or in their catalogs. But, they REALLY gouge you with the shipping costs!!! It's not like they just box up your entire order and send it all at once. They send things at random and charge you grossly inflated shipping charges every time!! Some of their home decor and kids stuff is nice, but it's certainly NOT worth the money!!!

I am curious about that other program mentioned...LTD? Can you delineate a little more on them? Thanks in advance!

bwsmom--I've tried them both and while I really like their stuff, I've found they both do the shipping basically the same way--you order several things and then they send them one by one and the shipping is crazy. However, my sister works with enough people that they can place a rather large order and it ends up not being so bad.

Same as ABC, but IMO better CS.

Oh no I hope things go better for me. I ordered stuff for Christmas. Part of my being done. Maybe I won't be done yet.
