I love this place..
i especially love the warm colors, call me wierd, but it does help to have nice colors to look at.. seem like a fun crowd.. the only problem i have is.. my pages load... awfulllllllllllllllllllllllllllly slow.. and 1/2 the time i cant get in...lol

The pages load really slow for me also, but I love this site anyway. Welcome and glad you like it here. I find the people nicer here than any other shopping board I have read. Check out the chit-chat forum if you really want to get to know people here.

For some reason, a friend and I both see a huge difference in DoD page loading when using Internet Explorer vs. Netscape. I love Netscape and use it for everything else, but have had to shift to IE in order to use DoD. It just DOESN'T work in Netscape. Don't know if that is your browser; if so, try IE and you'll be amazed (with 56K dial-up). FYI you can have both browsers open at once and switch between the various browser screens w/no problem, in my experience.

Hi folks,

for those having problems accessing DoD with NetScape, what version are you using? I'm using 6.1 and it seems to work OK (have 56K internal modem and 450 MHz Pentium 2).

In the past, I had tons of problems, and not just DoD, with versions 4 - 4.71.
