Kudos to MovieFone

Back in June, I played their scratch-off game and received a screen saying that I'd won a prize -- a VHS copy of "one of AFI'S Most Thrilling Movies." Cool!

Last month I got to wondering where my movie was, so I wrote to MovieFone. Got a nice reply asking if I had printed out the screen with confirmation number, etc. I hadn't thought to do that -- all I had was my copy of an e-mail that I had written to a friend immediately after the win, sending her the link to the contest and saying "I just won a tape here!"

I sent that e-mail back to MovieFone, knowing that's like showing someone your check register to "prove" you wrote a check. But they have gone above and beyond -- telling me that although they can find no evidence on their end that I actually won, they are going to send me one of the VHS prizes anyway!

Great to find people who know what "customer satisfaction" is all about!
