I AM SICK AND TIRED of taking surveys and NOT being PAID!!!

THE MOST NOTORIOUS CULPRIT IN MY BOOK is DiscoverWhy!! I have taken 7 surveys since February and have not been paid for ANY of them. They owe me $100 and some kind of vacation voucher. They used to be a decent company!!! I talked to someone on the phone in July and was told I would get my payments in a week..am still waiting. THEY DO NOT RESPOND to emails!! It appears that they are still at it, since a new survey is posted on some other boards!

AND what about BuzzBack? I have taken 7 surveys since June and have not been paid for any of those either!! SO they owe me $70!! THIS is another site that used to be good with payments. THEY do not answer emails either!!!

I could go on and on here, mentioning other survey sites but I am sure you get the picture!!!


GUESS it is tough times for all these sites but my time is valuable too!!!

ANYONE ELSE have any gripes in this area, especially with DiscoverWhy and BuzzBack?

WOW. I feel bad for you. I have had to wait a substantial amount of time in the past for DiscoverWhy to pay me but they always did. And I am new to buzzback but they have been paying me too. Sorry to hear about your troubles.

I've taken three surveys for Discover Why and they've never paid me. I don't ever expect to get the money. Buzzback has paid me once recently, still owes me for another one. The last two surveys I've done for Pinecone I haven't received a check for (yes, they were paid ones,not just the household question ones). That kind of worries me, Pinecone has always been so good about paying and I've done TONS of surveys for them. I guess maybe I'll have to email them and ask about it.

sweetiris, I am having the SAME problems with Pinecone. I have not been paid for the last two surveys I took for them. THAT worries me too as they have ALWAYS been MORE than prompt!

The other sites that still owe me are, PSB, American Consumer Opinions, Proctor and Gamble, Cyberdialogue, Greenfield( from APRIL!).


MAYBE it is just not worth it to take surveys anymore?

The extra money sure was nice!!!

Sometimes it just takes a long time for the checks to get out... I took a survey once and didn't get the check until months and months and months later after which I had already forgottent about it...

also, buzzback ~ only one check and i have done 6 surveys with them

oh well, i know i wont be doing anymore with them until this is resolved !!! live and learn i guess ~ and they have not answered any of my surveys either

I have been writing to DiscoverWhy for 3 months now, one email per week. I never got a reply, was hoping I would be enough of a pain for them to at least answer me! BUT THIS WEEK my email was returned, saying something like, "this email is undeliverable, no such email address". I wrote to the usual one I always write to, [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now].

SO NOW they don't even accept emails! MAYBE they are totally closed up or they are just sick of me!!! They might be sick of me, BUT I AM SICK OF THEM TOO!



I will not do another survey for BuzzBack either..never got one payment from them either!!! NO PAYMENTS from PSB, American Consumer Opinions, Proctor and Gamble, Cyberdialogue, or Greenfield( from APRIL!).


Pinecone is all up to date with me, as of today, got two checks from mid-September....

ANYONE ELSE having problems with nonpayment from survey sites?

I've taken 3 Buzzback surveys and I've always gotten a check within a few weeks. I've never used the other companies being discussed, though.

Never a problem with anyone except for Discover why and Vie,Im owed since January 25th when they said the checks will be in the mail in a week.....Then I did 2 vacations for them, also 2 other surverys for 20.00 each and the second parts for 30.00.So they owe me 100.00 and 2 vacations.....I'm done with them, because like u email gets bounced back or I've never heard back from them...They were really good the first one I did for them when they screwed up my Paypal, and sent it to the wrong email addy...Cyberdialogue is great, always recieved check within a few weeks....Did 2 today for Opinionsite and PineCone...lets see.....

Proctor and Gamble even emailed me to tell me that they had 4 checks of mine returned and mailed them right away....

Had to email Buzzback about both surveys I did ( prompt reply)Got my second check last week.
Pinecone used to be very prompt, but has been slow latlely. I have always received the checks though.

my son and I do greenfield online. they also cheat you. I was doing it for years, then they stopped paying us. they owe my son 90 dollars and me 60 dollars. now when you join it, they put you into a sweepstakes and never win anything. this way they don't have to pay you and when they send you a survey for money, they say they don't like your answer and put you out of the survey. so don't anyone do greenfield. I have been doing pineconeresarch for years and never was cheated.

Ouch! I hope you all get the $$ you earned!!!!! I was doing one online survey, which I can't even remember the name of now, and never got anything, so I just stopped doing them. Good luck to all of you....

There's a site called [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] that lists the best paid survey companies as well as the worst. I just found them last week and have already started making a bit of cash.
