Qool phone cards

I bid on and won 4 of them, all half hour; took them nearly a week to send, but that was fine.
I used two of them, no problem. However, I punched in the code number to use the 3rd and the "voice" said, you have 10 minutes!! I never used ANY of the time on said card. I was gyped out of 20 minutes of phone time.
Nothing one can do, I know. But DID want to inform people.

If you haven't already, be sure to notify Qool of this problem with full details (which card was "short" etc.). They may or may not respond, but no merchant can fix a problem if they don't know about it. Good luck!

ALERT about fone cards !

The actual card means nothing, only the pin code matters.

I used to work for a firm that gave fone cards to customers as promo and some of us (yeah me too) copied these pin numbers for our own use, being careful to not run down the full amount of the card. It was justified (OK, not really) by the fact that many recipients don't get to actually use them, either loosing them, forgetting them, letting them expire, dog eating them, etc.

Unless the fone card arrives absolutely factory sealed in a non see-thru package, be aware.
