Beware of Netbank

Stick to your local bank. These guys have come up with the most ridiculous fees I've ever seen:

$25 to close an account within 6 months
$3 inactivity fee after only 3 months (an additional $5 for inactivity on bill pay.)
And the final insult . . . $7.50 fee to close an account with less a balance of less than $7.50.

I understand the need to make mooney, but these fees are not standard. Customer service is unwilling to work with you if you get assessed a fee that you were unaware of!

.. with these internet banks, so read the TOS carefully before signing up, esp. whether they reserve the right to change fees, etc. merely by updating their website, without informing you in writing.
So far, the most satisfying for me has been INGDirect, thanks to the good person who advised me about it.
