August 2001 Rebate check dates being posted at CyberRebate.com

How odd -- rebates that I had submitted to CyberRebate which (prior to their bankruptcy) had been promised with a check date in June, are now being shown with a check date of 8/6/2001. Wonder if this is just some automatic updating function of their software, or ...?

On the other hand, rebates I had submitted but they had not yet "received and posted" are still shown as not submitted. I had taken to sending everything by Certified Mail, so if push comes to shove, I can get proof of delivery from USPS on dates prior to their BK filing.

It's nice to know that their website is up and running again, but I don't think I wanted to see my account status. My check(s) were due to be mailed on... May 16. If only they could have done things a few days faster...

Twinplets, it wouldn't have mattered. Mine were due April 28th. Actually, some checks were due April 8th, and I didn't receive them, so I e-mailed them, and after bugging them, I finally had received them two weeks after that. I am convinced had I not stayed on those, I would not have gotten those, either.
