~~~ I am sorry for this off topic post, but it applies to all deal-hunters who have accounts at Fatshoe.com, and might save MUCH grief down the road ~~~ The Fatshoe CSRs mislead me into contacting them when my account would not work (email provider died -- couldn't access it anymore). They provide NO information on their site about what to do in order to change email accounts. One CSR emailed me and told me that I could transfer money from my old account into a new one. When I tried to do this, they simply closed the old account and kept the money in it. If you have money in the account, GET IT OUT! As the .com economy continues to suffer, this is how they choose to make money -- by stealing it. I lost a fair amount, and I have no recourse through with to get it back. Again, I apologize for posting this here. For anyone who gets their money out before fatshoe steals it, though, it is a hot deal. Good Luck, Bob |
I've been with fatshoe for a while now, I have never encountered a problem with their customer service, as a matter of fact they're one of the best that I have ever dealt with. I changed my email address online in two minutes through a chat. I know that they are tough when it comes to fraud, I opened two accounts and they blocked both of them until I called in. They are just preventing people from stealing from them.
I have had nothing but positive experiences with fatshoe.com customer service. I changed my email with them by contacting the customer service department through the toll free number on the back of the card. The next time I logged in, my money was there under my new email account. Call customer service and I am sure they will straighten this out. They have always responded with nothing but kindness to me. Good luck. |
Fatshoe has been great for me - they emailed me back immediately when I had a problem with a transfer into my account there (funds from another earning site) and they took care of the problem promptly. And they were very nice about it. I would want to cautious about accusing someone of stealing in a public forum given the libel laws that exist for the protection of all of us. |
I thought fatshoe money was on our fatshoe card and we could spend it at B&M if we wanted to. If that's right your money is on your card and you can spend it without changing your e-mail????
I got Fatshoe for me, none for anyone else and none for pets. Now I do understand its a Visa debit card and I have used my instant earns on the plastic card at a B&M k-mart But I fail to understand why anyone would actually transfer money to it. If I wanted to spend money from another card I would simply use the other card itself, and not bother transfering it to fatshoe. I must be missing something here. I hate to be in the dark..can someone turn on the light please? |
i find it hard to believe nothing can be done. you don`t mention what you`ve tried to do. first would be to contact fatshoe by phone, they are generally very nice csr`s. if that doesn`t work try planet feedback. i`ve not heard of anyone having a "substantial" amount of money in a fatshoe account so that makes it important to get after it!! and i notice it`s your 1st post - not a happy one at that. sorry, i`m babbling on and on - i believe there`s a happy ending to this. |
SkyeJaz, thanks..I guess that might be handy then, if otherwise you would be using a debit card from your bank account. Hadn't thought of that since personally I have never bothered to get a debit card from my bank. I use real credit cards and webcertificates for online shopping and I check the current activity of my cards by checking them on-line ever day. |
