Wow. I have been doing surveys with them for a while, and then all of a sudden they started giving me money in my iGain account. I requested a check and they sent me $34.

sounds like most everyone has had the same exoerience I have had with Greenfield... years doing studies for them, usually just entered into a drawing, seeing nothing in the end so far.

I have all but forgotten about them.

Once, over a year ago, maybe more than 2 yrs ago, I received notice that I had won one of those drawings and that the money was in my iGain account. I went to look and sure enough, it had $10 in it and I requested a check and got it right away. Don't know how long after the survey that took to be credited though.

Just the other day, I had an email from them about some video clip to view and be surveyed on. I went to the site and definitely did notice that there were only a few surveys listed as opposed to the many there usually were. I took the one they emailed me about, but apparently it was just a screener to get into the one to view the video clip and apparently I didn't "qualify" because it was just 3 or 4 very blase questions and then the end.

I like Greenfield...

I rather like them, somewhat slow to pay but IMHO only Pinecone has been as lucrative, and faster. But then I'm prejudiced, last year (May 2000) I won $100 from Greenfield, got the check right away after sending in the claim form... Earlier this year, did a "focus group" with them for $70, I think, it did take about 8 weeks to post in iGain but eventually got there. I had asked CS about it, after about 6 weeks, and they said "wait until 8 weeks are up" and there it was.

I really know what you mean. They are very slow about paying, but generally very reliable. I have noticed that it takes between 8-12 weeks before the money is in the igain account. Sometimes, I have seen it take over 3 months! If it has been some time, I would email them. They have always been responsive to me in the past and generally pay up. Although, I have rarely gotten more than $5 for a survey from them. Lately it has been $1 and $2.

Am I going to regret just joining Greenfield? I am hoping that Blink credits my 1000 points
that I should get for signing up, soon.

Re: Anyone else having trouble getting paid from greenfieldonline ???

[b]Although I have taken numerous surveys over the past 5 months I have received no credit. When I emailed them they returned my message with a standard pre printed email. They suck

Greenfield ? Advice -- don't waste your time on them anymore, now that they went public, the corporate fat cats and shareholders come first. You are not going to get much out of them anymore as a panelist. You are just an oppressed worker for the man if you do; you just be making them money. Bail out.
