Did you know that as a Roaman's customer, Roaman's will use your credit info to "enroll" you in a membership program without your permission? You'll receive a Membership Services postcard in the mail. If you overlook this card, if it gets lost in the mail, if the card gets mistaken for junk mail, or if you do not read the card for any other reason, your credit card will AUTOMATICALLY be charged $12.99 a month--each and every month until you realize what Roaman's has done. Should the 12.99 put your account over your limit, the charge could affect your credit rating. When I called Roaman's, their response to this 'charge it now and credit later IF they catch it' scam was that it is ok since they give you a phone number on the card to call if you don't want to be enrolled. They never explain what you're supposed to do if you never get to read the ____ card. This is a dangerous and criminal practice on Roaman's part. m9f
