Cell 1-- stay away!

Just a general notice about a very hard time Cell One
gave me with my contract.

I went in over a year ago to get a cell phone. I asked
specifically if I could call my boyfriend who lived in another state but with with in the blue area. The salesman said yes. I found out by opening my bill that I was lied to.

A nasty letter to the manager of the location, cced to the BBB and his boss later, he's changed my program. Lied to me about what it was, and how many minutes were included. Never sent the promised materials. At that time, I thought it would have been best if I canceled the policy... but I found out i would have to pay two hundred and not get back my deposit. I stuck it out for a year.

A year later, I hand delivered a letter stating that I wanted to cancel my service. They lost the hand delivered letter! When I expected the service to be canceled, I noticed that it wasn't. I call CS, they want me to pay an for the month plus another month.

I wrote a letter through Ugetheard and sent it to the president of the company. And then I took it into Cell One and showed it to them. Suddenly, my service is cancelled and a refund is promised.

Four weeks later, I'm waiting on the refund...

They still haven't sent me my refund, however, they had charged me again!

Stay away from cellularone at all costs!

OMG, This s***s big time...I hate that the companies continue to do this kind of crapola....My story with Cellularone is kinda mild in comparision....when I cancelled my service, the billed me for an additional 5 cents (they never told me what it was for)...I assumed that they would just write this off (as most companies do)...but they continued to send me a bill every month for over a year, despite my requests that they stop. (Figure that one out----cost of stamp x 12 months = way more than 5 cents) I certainly wasn't going to write a check for 5 cents. They finally threatened to send this to collection unless I paid the 5 cents. I told them to go ahead and that I would like to see a judge award anything for that stupid amount...We'll, I didn't hear anything for a really long time and then guess what...I got a call from a collection agency (who assumed that the 5 cents was a typo) He got really nasty until I had him call me at work (I work for an attorney). That stopped them...but it is on my credit report now...This company is horrible...There are so many other cell providers out there that are not as stupid as this one...I agree...STAY AWAY...
