I have been a big naysayer about the service of MVP.com, so it's about time to trumpet the service of others:

REI.com and REI-outlet.com: Great service, good shipping time. REI.com returns can be made to a local REI store, while outlet returns must be sent back via mail/UPS. No return problems in either case.

fogdog.com: Only one order, but it was shipped the same day and had no problems.

sierratradingpost.com: I really like the ability to chat online with their customer service. Good prices and timely shipping.

planetoutdoors.com: This was a great company with absolutely the BEST customer service. They have been absorbed by MVP.com. Need I say more?
