printed out the free bag of candy coupon took it to the store they wouldnt honor it b/c it was running on sale for a 1.88. SO? the sign back there didnt even say it was on sale it still said 2.79. It wasnt the cashier she was friendly and scared at the same time b/c she knew i was irate B/C THE COUPONS WERE NOT SCANNING.
Well someone i have no idea her authrotiy says they dont accept copied coupons i said there not copied there printed from YOUR site.

They also would not accept a printed polly pocket coupon from mattels website for 5.00 off any purchase.

I told them i was caling corporate and who ever else i could let them know how i had been treated. my child screamed for 20 min there after b/c no candy and no toy i mean shes 2 poor thing.

i called the kmart 1800 number the lady told me something was wrong with there online systems if i go back the coupons should work in 2 hours.
OH WHAT EVER TRY TO COVER YOUR HINNIES!

She said if they give you a problem have them call us.

whatever.

i took my business to walmart were i should have and there candy bags were 1.55 or 1.58 versus 1.88 and they let me use the toy coupon!!

i just wanted my free candy they advertised, they said oh it will be off sale and you can use it yeah right.

im so mad!

update some of you want to know what was the big deal about it, the big deal was i went to kmart b/c it was the closest at the time and figured id get teh candy, well i had the toy coupon on me to and figured i would also get that, well them not taking there own coupon is why i wrote this post. the toy coupon yes i could take it somewere else and i did and they accepeted. i also dont appreciate comment on me or my daughter that the ignorant hero posted. i would never speak that way about anyone on this forum that was very uncalled for.

Sorry about your bad shopping experience. I gave up on Kmart a few years ago. The service is aweful. We have one in our community that is less than a mile from the "Walliemart" The last time I went into the Kmart it it may have had about 6 customers in the whole store. I have no idea how they stay in business. I would hate to see them go under but I don't see them surviving.

I wish that I had a Kmart close by. That would give Walmart and Target more competition and hopefully drive their prices down a little. I understand that you are upset by this, but if you are truly upset, don't shop at Kmart anymore. You have a choice.

I'm about half scared to try and use my coupons at kmart now!

Has anyone ever used there $5.00 off the total coupon? Any trouble with it? I'm going to try and use them probably tomorrow wish me luck!

Just a follow up, I went to Kmart with my coupons yesterday, the five bucks off my entire order went ok...Oh course all the halloween candy was on sale, but i found some m&m's that were next to the check out (halloween ones) and they were 2.79, coupon wouldn't work, she called superviser who came over said they are on sale for 2.50, I said, well honey, the sign don't say that, she said, 'no problem', told the cashier, just make the coupon for 2.50 and it will go thru! More than likely this is because the superviser was just being nice or didn't want to go to all the trouble to explain why i couldn't use it...Anyway, I had good luck with mine....

I don't usually go to Kmart. I go to WalMart and Target and I don't have problems with them.

I've had the same problem. K-mart sends me e-mails several times a week after I gave my e-mail to them 2 years ago. They send me printable coupons and when I use them they say they don't accept computer coupons!!!!!!

K-mart management and employees lied to the Police on me and i was unjustly banned and arrested for trespass. The Police officer also lied on his reports saying conflicting statements. I have proof that i did not do what i had been accused of. Was not even there on the date and time of the incident. Did not match the discription of the perpitrator. I am disabled and legally blind and have medical conditions with my back and i have to walk wherever i need to shop. K-mart was the only place close enough for me to walk. I did not deserve at all to be baned. I am asking everyone to ban K-mart from the stores that you shop. They deserve to be put out of business. They treat their customers like they are thieves and watch your every move and even follow you around the store if you notice. I had filed a complaint with customer care center against the manager is why they had a grudge to get even with me and lie to the Police. The officer also lied on his reports about me saying that i admitted to something i did not do. Why? Because i had filed a complaint against him at the Police station for verba and physical abuse after he arrested me and took me outside. And although i was told that after i left the store that i was not to come back in and that i could pick up what i needed before i left. I wanted to ask the manager why they was telling the Police lies on me. But the officer would not let me ask and i asked him twice and when i complainted the third time he arrested me. Please don't shop at K-mart and tell everyone you know about this and tell them not to shop K-mart too. Thankyou! BAN K-mart

i went to k-mart the other day with my mother. we were going shopping for thanksgiving and she suggested we go by there. i havent been in probably a good 12 months. no great loss there. they seemed to have gone downhill and i think maybe there was about 10 other shoppers in the entire store max. (we were there around 6pm). i bought some acorn squash they had on sale and that was it. lol
i really dont like k-mart all that much anyways.

I wish we had a Meijer's and Target here. I heard we may be getting both. K-mart would not survive if they did. Once i took some stuff back for a refund and they at first refused to even give me a store card to use later. After complaining to the management they gave me a card. Now i still have the card but unable to go in to use it. Would be good enough for K-mart to fail here and become Target or Meijer's. Bash K-mart ...
