I live in KY, why? I went to the Meijer in Lexington and the store was nicer than the Wal-Mart we have locally. I wish i could afford to move. Away from people who lie about you like the management and security at K-mart did me. Then, my Public Defender and the County Attorney as well as the Judge did not want to take my case to a Jury Trial which i wanted. So they said if i agreed i would not go back into K-mart till they gave me permission or i sued in court and it was ordered i could go back that they would dismiss the charge of Trespass against me. And that it would in no way hurt any civil suit i brought against K-mart. Which it did. It even hurt me in that no lawyer would take my case. I had to try and represent myself. And the court Judge was rude to me and dismissed everything. I needed a lawyer who could have helped me, at least be able to shop in K-mart if i wanted to. I don't hate the store .... I hate those who lied on me. I wish someone could help me.

Why would you expect friendliness and great customer service? You just stated that the poor cashier knew you were irate- why were you irate in the first place? Honestly, I can understand getting a little upset, but that is no reason to shove all your anger and frustration out on an employee. Plus, it sounds like it was for something free- you weren't even spending moeny! The polly pocket coupon could have been used elsewhere, and as for your child screaming- that is your problem and your fault, not the store's fault.

I'm not a huge fan of Kmart, and don't shop there often, but when I do, the cashiers have always been friendly and helpful, whether I had coupons or not.

Where do you live that there is a Meijer's? I never even heard of this store (live in s. fla). I hate going to Walmart, just because the one that is closest to my house, only hire lazy moronic people! I would go to Target, but its usually out of the way. now, if i need something from either walmart or target, i try to find something similar in CVS or Walgreens.

As far as Kmart goes, I haven't been there since after watching Rain Man!

Well someone i have no idea her authrotiy says they dont accept copied coupons i said there not copied there printed from YOUR site.

They also would not accept a printed polly pocket coupon from mattels website for 5.00 off any purchase.

I told them i was caling corporate and who ever else i could let them know how i had been treated. my child screamed for 20 min there after b/c no candy and no toy i mean shes 2 poor thing.

i called the kmart 1800 number the lady told me something was wrong with there online systems if i go back the coupons should work in 2 hours.

i took my business to walmart were i should have and there candy bags were 1.55 or 1.58 versus 1.88 and they let me use the toy coupon!!

i just wanted my free candy they advertised, they said oh it will be off sale and you can use it yeah right.

for her family a lid shattered, she went to meijer told them what happened the guy said no problem go get what you need
here's a food voucher and replace the food that got glass in it, you walk in the greeters are friendly and your walking down an isle and a staff say hello while
working. wal-mart ( china mart) don't
meijer has more lanes open.. they will get on the intercom and say register 10 is open or let the costumer it's an employee's birthday or they'll hollar in good fun
