| Buyer Beware - Bidz.com
Experiences with this company tend to go from bad to worse and it is time for consumers to take action. Small outline of complaints: Hidden charges; Broken/Wrong Items; No–Refund; Hidden Charges; Bid Rigging etc. My experience has been horrible to say the least... it is time to take action. The company is already rated F by the BBB (the worst possible rating). Despite this, the company continues to operate. BBB Company Rating F description: • “We strongly question the company’s reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly misleading, they are not in compliance with the law’s licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations, or the company’s industry is known for its fraudulent business practices.” It is clear that simply complaining to the BBB is not going to fix the problem. The complaints against the company need to be escalated to someone with the power to take real action against them. Please take the time to file a complaint with the two agencies below. California Attorney General’s Office Consumer Complaint Form: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Bureau of Consumer Protection: https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$.startup?Z_ORG_CODE=PU01 Company name and address for complaint: Bidz.com 3562 Eastham Drive Culver City, CA 90232 Phone: (800) 444-8124 Additionally, if you have not already done so call Visa, Mastercard and AMEX to complain about this company. If they receive enough complaints they will refuse to let BIDZ accept payment through a credit card. This would effectively cut off the company from doing business with a large portion of its customers. Mastercard Customer Service: 1-800-622-7747 Visa Fraud Customer Service: You have to call the number on the back of your card depending on which bank issued the card. American Express Customer Service: 1-800-528-4800 It’s time to make Bidz.com responsible for its actions. Thank you for your help and support. Best, HL |
