I have had a little problem with mine and while it may be isolated it wouldn't hurt to check. The amounts keep changing -not in my favor. I'm working with them at the moment and cs has been nice but this concerns me because I don't want to have to monitor it constantly. Also I am relatively new at this but today I got 43 emails from them listing every individual rebate from every item I ordered in December.Is this what they do?? If this needs to be moved ok. I just thought it might save someone alot of frustration when they get their check and its wrong! |

That's funny you should mention that. I got 2 e-mails from them telling my about my account update. But the rebates had been posted about 3 weeks ago, and this is the second update I've gotten on those transactions. Very strange.

That's just it. Mine were posted a long time ago. One day I noticed a negative number that had been positive. All of a sudden my rebate decreases by $30.Then they fix it and now there's another mistake of $10 ON THE SAME ORIGINAL SET OF REBATES.

They are sending me e-mail, also about 2 weeks ago. I keep checking my account to see if they are posted or if my amount changes and it never does. They owe me over $30 and my account total is still $6. I e-mailed them and they say some of them were added previously (which is not true) and others it takes up to a month for them to post to the account after they receive info from the merchant. My question is why in the e-mails do they give you a link to see the update on your account?? Maybe we are to wait a month until we click on the link!!! Whatever, they are messed up big time. I am moving to a different ebates program if this continues.

I got 63 emails from them today on one order that I placed from greatentertaining.com back in December! The totals were correct, but the emails seemed a bit rediculous!

The same thing is happening to me. I have received 2 emails about a purchse I made in November that has been posted to my account for about 8 weeks. I even has an issue with that purchase and they fixed it immediately in November. Now it seems they're doing some clean uo and sending emails regarding purchases made in the past quarter. As long as my amounts don't change, I'll be happy!

I HATE EBATES! I refuse to use them anymore. They are totally deceitful. I think they mess with peoples' accounts when they don't want to pay out that much. I bought a freezer from ourhouse through ebates. Never got the rebate. They said I didn't go through ebates even though I am positive that I did because I wouldn't make a huge purchase like that without the rebate. It was supposed to be for $60. Well, after 4000 emails and getting very upset with them, they finally credited me the rebate but becaue ourhouse had dropped their rebate from 20 to 10%, they would only give me half. Well, it was better than nothing even though it wasn't fair since I BOUGHT the item when they were offering 20%. Well, low and behold, the day before they issued checks, my rebate suddenly just diappeared. I have emailed them and emailed them and they have never responded. They just didn't want to pay me and there's nothing I can do about it but complain. I use dash now because I can see my rebate right away and know if there's a problem. Their cs is MUCH better and I think their rebates are often higher than ebates anyway.

This topic probably belongs in another DOD forum, but I'm glad it was here because I probably wouldn't have seen it otherwise. Thanks to the op for the heads up on ebates mistakes. I just checked my account and they credited me only $0.59 on a $235 purchase from consumer-direct.com that was supposed to have a 5% rebate. That's over $11 short!!!!! Like others here, I've recevied a dated notification from them recently too. About 2 weeks ago I got notification of a purchase I made 03/00. Update: I have to give them credit tho', they fixed it already!! Wonder if the fix will stick or if it'll disappear right before the quarterly check drops??? Katrinka and all, Actually Dash sometimes has less cashback % than the others, but it has the tremendous advantage of almost-instant updates in your account when you use it. I have a link to it in the Affiliate Spam board, (you can search by member name mrsarkar), if you're interested (I'd appreciate it .When I joined ebates, I believed (from their site) that they had some former law-enfor. officials on their board. I have noticed, however, that they seem to be having problems with timely posting of rebates. BTW, a general question: have any of you been credited with cashback for buying walmart gift cards through ebates/spree? |

CS emailed me and it looks like it's fixed. She agreed that the multiple emails are crazy and would pass that along to her supervisor. At least they are listening, and prompt about fixing the problem. I am going to keep an eye on the account tho. I've gone thru ebates for walmart gift cards and have NOT rec'd a rebate, BUT they also state in their rules that they don't give them. There are some exceptions! I tried anyway just to see !!

I got to $4.97 and then suddenly my balance went back to zero. Then I received a 90 cent credit for a purchase that i made 5 months ago. So my account now stands at .90. I use stockback, though they haven't paid me yet, and i can't figure out how to get the money out. Don't go away mad ebates, just go away. |
