| Re: Enviga (New Green Tea Drink)
KM is dead on. I tried this at a trade show 3 weeks ago, and it is repulsive. It tastes like rancid celery juice. There's also a lingering aftertaste that about makes one want to throw up. I have trouble believing that Coke has done much product testing with this, because I can't think of any way that anyone would give this stuff positive marks.

Yes, unfortunately it doesn't taste the best. Coke came across the ability to make a drink that actually has negative calories and got so consumed wih that attribute they forgot it has to taste good as well. Hopefully they figure out how to combine both and make a good tasting drink that burns calories as well!

I actually like Enviga. I know it is an energy drink and I do not expect it to taste like green tea. I think if you were to taste it while not expecting it to taste like green tea, you might like it. I like it because it is an energy drink with no sugar, which means no crash. Now as for it having a "negative calorie" effect, since 1lb of fat = 3,000 calories, the 20-100 calories it might burn aren't going to make you drop super amounts of weight but at the same time at least its not adding calories to your diet. Give the product a fair shot while comparing it to an energy drink, not green tea
