Re: Central Coast Nutraceuticals-- STAY AWAY!!

Hello -- I feel like a fool. This company is no good. I tried calling several times and was on hold for over 50 minutes each not getting a person. I have also emailed them to cancel and rude representatives emailed back. I finally got a hold of my bank and filed a claim and canceled my card so the company will not be able to charge to my account.

Re: Central Coast Nutraceuticals-- STAY AWAY!!

I don't know who the person was that is going to start a class action here,
but I have heard nothing more on it since. All I keep seeing is posts coming in from other victims saying that they wanted to be added to it. Has anything been started on it yet? To update you on the latest happenings with my bank, yesterday, December 3rd I received an overnight letter from Capitol One concerning the two charges of $88.97 on my Visa account. They are giving me until December 8th to respond with proof that these charges were unauthorized. Attached to the letter was a copy of the rebuttal from the scam artists. They submitted some pathetic junk to dispute my claim.

Well Capitol One is gonna get even more than what they asked for. I am
sending them copies of all the e-mails back and forth with CCN which includes a refund promise of $39.95 that I never got. After all of these communications with them they had the nerve to e-mail me and deny that they are the company involved. As I said in an earlier post there are four companies involved here that appear to all be one and the same and are running this scam operation, and after a while you don't know who you are dealing with.

Celebrity-smile.com
IWinWhitening
Celebritybrites.com
Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc.
All of them except CCN have the same exact address.

I am also sending Cap One a ton of links they can look at to see all the complaints on the four companies involved.

If after all this proof that I present to Capital One they do not stand behind me on this issue I will cancel my card. Please let us know what's happening on this class action suit. By now we have a lot of people who are interested in participating in it.
Getting madder and madder,

Please do send me your E-mail adress. I would really like to get these guys to go under and would like to join your lawsuit. Im a student and was charged for $119 dollars worth of product I did not order. You can imagine how much $119 dollars is to a struggling student! I really hope to hear from you soon!

I personally did everything they asked in order to not be charged for the order they sent me including return of the item and they still will not credit back my credit card the $38.95.

I want to do everything I can to make sure companies like CCN are held responsible and do business ethically.

Re: Central Coast Nutraceuticals-- STAY AWAY!!

My card that is getting charged is also Capital One. and I DID cancel that card. Cap One is actually the ones who alerted me to the fraud. The charges are now in dispute. So I know Cap One must have these companies flagged.
So far I do not see a specific person handling the law suit. Just a lot of talk. IF someone has indeed talked to a lawyer and has something going, they need to give us the name of the lawyer, the address to submit our info to, etc.
I still HONESTLY believe we need to get a big hitter in here. MAIL Oprah. I got an email ad with her picture big as life all over it from this company. If I were her I would be fighting mad. And she has the power to help us. PLEASE everyone, help us get Oprah involved.

I am also going to call all my local news channels and newpaper. I suggest you all do the same. Contact the Consumer Protection Agency.

And thats what I have to say about that!!!

Re: Central Coast Nutraceuticals-- STAY AWAY!!

Ok everyone, I have been preaching to contact Oprah, here is the link to send an email. Maybe if enough of us hound them, someone will take it serious enough to show her people, who will then show her!!! Here's wishing us luck!

Re: Central Coast Nutraceuticals-- STAY AWAY!!

Today I was scrutinizing my Visa bills back to September and find that there
IS STILL ANOTHER COMPANY INVOLVED HERE!! Looking at my statement there were 2 shipping charges of $4.99 for the tooth whitening kit that I ordered from Celebrity-smile.com. One charge was issued by IWinWhitening and the other one was from a place called Advanced Bright which has the same address as CelebritySmile, Celebritybrites and IWinWhitening. One of these I did order, the other one, well, you know the answer to that.

XRayBear (or anyone) do you have any idea how we can reach out to Oprah? I'm sure she would not appreciate her name being connected to and dragged all over of this crap. Also, does anyone here have any idea where we would begin to start a class action suit? Every day I see two and three more victims adding their ripoff experience to this thread. When you see struggling college students and seniors on a fixed income getting ripped off by these crooks, it's time to try and do something about it to them.

Re: Central Coast Nutraceuticals-- STAY AWAY!!

See my post above for the link I used for Oprah. I also found other forums that have similar threads going, I am posting to all I can. Everyone should also go to Consumeraffairs.com and post. They actually have attorneys look at the posts and if we get enough on there, maybe someone will pick us up. I think the percentage is small, but it is worth a shot. They also have a listing of current class actions. I did not see one listed for this company . . . yet, here's hoping. Stay with it guys.

Re: Central Coast Nutraceuticals-- STAY AWAY!!

Absolutely stay away from Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc. I just received the gum, drops, and some pills and was charged around $45.oo on my credit card. "If I am not completely happy I can return the un-opened containers for a refund less a 15% restocking fee and I have to pay the postage. This was suppose to be a free trial offer of $5.95 to cover the postage. How can I try it for two weeks as offered without opening the bottle. WHAT A FRAUD. Yes, I want to join a class action suit. I agree, the person I reached on the phone was abrupt and didn't want to hear why I was dismayed at so far being charged over 75.00 on my credit card for stuff i did not order. Always read the very very small print that you have to search for before buying.

Re: Central Coast Nutraceuticals-- STAY AWAY!!

I just sent Oprah a email, letting her know what is going on, what if anything will become of it, I do not know. I already filed with Arizonia's BBB.

Re: Central Coast Nutraceuticals-- STAY AWAY!!

I also filed with Arizona BBB and since CCN did eventually refund me, after quite awhile of arguing and having to alert my bank, BBB considers this closed. I also did email Oprah as well.
So, is there a class action suit?

Re: Central Coast Nutraceuticals-- STAY AWAY!!

Hey guys here is a quick update as to what is going on with Central Coast Neutracueticals. I filed a complaint with Consumeraffairs.com and they sent me an email back stating that my complaint was selected to be filed on their website for everyone to view and it should be there within 48hrs. I also filed a complaint with Oprah Winfrey at oprah.com as well as Arizonia's Better Business Bureau (BBB). My next step is to contact the Arizonia's Attorney General's Office. (If anyone has that website please send it to me at [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]). I am asking that everyone who reads or sees this and who has had an issue to PLEASE PLEASE fill out a complaint on these sites ESPECIALLY at consumeraffairs.com in order that we may try to get this class action suit going. We all know that there are strengh in numbers. They actually have LAWYERS, LAW ENFORCEMENT AND OTHER AGENCIES THAT VIEW THIS SITE. You never know someone could pick up on our issue. Let's stop this company and put them out of business. I need your help please.

Re: Central Coast Nutraceuticals-- STAY AWAY!!

DITTO, DITTO, DITTO! This company is fradualent. Everything that has been posted about them sending unauthorized products and charging your card and refusing to give refunds is true!

I have cancelled through their phone system, through their email system and still they continue to charge my account. I have had to go through my bank and file fradulent charges.

I would be happy to participate in a class action suite, [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]. In addition, I have filed a complaint with the Better Buisiness Bureau, complaint number is: 7350510. My next step is to file a complaint with the Department of Commerce.
