Whatta nightmare! I find THE perfect bracelet to get for my daughter for her 16th birthday... I've been looking everywhere online and off and this was the perfect one! I was so excited to find it.. I gave myself plenty of time.. I had over 3 weeks before her birthday when I ordered it..

I ordered.. paid.. so excited!

Then.. I get an email saying that when the item arrives in stock in 6-8 weeks, my item will be shipped! WHAT!!?!! 6-8 weeks??? NO WAY!

It would be one thing if they said that UP FRONT when placing my order..

I emailed, no response, called.. finally got someone on the phone.. told them how mad I was that they didn't even tell me this item is not even in stock when I ordered.. She said "well, we should be getting our shipmend in 6-8 weeks and will let you know when it is shipped" and she acted as if I was a crazy lady, that this is perfectly normal.

I told her that this was a present for my daughters 16th birthday... now I need to cancel my order. I Finally went through a long process over the phone of getting the order canceled. So frustrating! It makes me mad that they sell these items without even having them in stock... I told her they should say they are PER-SELLING, not SELLING.

And to make matters worse, I have been bombarded with spam from them since I placed my order and cannot seem to get my email off their list!

That's awful. I hope you found something else for your daughter. One thing --the company is not supposed to charge you till they have the item ready to ship out that day. They basically charged you for nothing and I that's more than wrong. No business will stay IN business operating like that.

#1 Please correct my home address. It is 5200 Irvine Blvd.space 38l, Irvine,CA 92620. There is no phone # to call. You have been sending invoices to space 418 and they have had to hand deliver the two packages.

#2 Also, I sent a check when I placed the order #589 for $78.94 (the entire amount due) for which I am being invoiced with nothing credited.

I would hope these two items will be cleared up before Hawthorne Village sends another package, including an invoice. It would have been much easier if there had been a phone number to call.
