Has anyone had any problems with Andy's Garage Sale? I placed an order a few weeks ago for one of their daily deals & when I E-Mailed them to tell them I hadn't received it they said to wait till the next day to report it. The next day I E-Mailed them again & they said it was returned to them that same day (What a coincidence!) I asked them for details......to resend it overnight or 2nd day mail, etc. but they just said they would issue a credit & Happy Holidays! I did a little research & see that the name is registered to Fingerhut. Does anyone know if they were acquired by Fingerhut or have they always owned them. I'm guessing the affiliation with this big company is the reason for this generic response.....funny how it differs from the good 'ole boy, po-folks personality of their website! I told them that if I considered this order a contract, & if they didn't re-ship it ASAP then I would take appropriate action: i.e....report them to the Better Business Bureaus,Secretary of State's office, etc. & would post negative info. on the many message boards that I frequent. Their response was: We've issued a credit which may take 5 business days and/or 1 or 2 billing cycles & you can re-order if you like! Arggggh! I'm not interested in calling their non 800 customer service line & wasting more time, but I do want them to know that I am serious. This item was ordered in plenty of time for the holiday's & my wife & I had this item earmarked for a relative for a gift & we are really furious at their attitude..... Any suggestions on how I can really get to them would be appreciated..... |
