I purchased a Rainbow and returned it within the 3 days allowed on the contract and the salesman return a broken down Kirby instead of my own (I have the serial # and the papers to prove it) He also throw away all the attachments... that's an $1895.00 unit) Called Acadiana Air, his home office calls weren't returned. Call Positively Clean, the main office in Lafayette, LA and my calls weren't returned either. Finally some guy at Acadiana Air called and said I could just take Brandon to court. How about that for intergity and honesty. Watch out who you let in your home!!

This helped me the one time I used it, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, there's an online one that I filed under and they just transfer your complaint to the appropriate office and mine was cleared up in a couple days. Good luck.

Check that serial number because Kirby's have bar numbers that are used to order parts but you think its a model number. The model number is on the top side of the Kirby

Mine wasn't for a Kirby but a completely different thing... I thought of the Better Business Bureau as at least "something" lots of companys don't want to hear from! Have you called Legal Aid (free legal advice and help) in your area? Give it a try, can't hurt and good luck!
