the pledge movie ticket thing?

anyone else sign up for this a while back? i just got this email from them today:

pooh. i was excited about those movie tickets! i wonder if everyone who signed up was honest about it,and got the tickets for the intended reason?

Sounds like you got a bad deal on that one. Sorry to hear it. I'll move it to the Complaints/Compliments, where I "think" a lot more people will read it and you may find others that the same thing happened to! Sorry you didn't get your free movie vouchers; movies are expensive these days (which is one of the reasons we never go!!!)

Unfortunately, that is the way with almost any free offer online. Most companies only have a limited supply to give away, once they reach that limit that is it, and unfortunately some businesses do not have software that cuts their sign ups off, when that limit is reached. So they are left having to explain to people why they can't send what you signed up to get.
