Thumbs down

I used to love MVP.com they had the best stuff and great prices. With the hoilidays coming around I knew a couple of sports fans that would love their products. After ordering items that were pictured and in stock. I called 8 days later and they told me that everything was fine and that delivery may just be late. I called back that afternoon and a different lady told I should of received an email saying that it was back ordered, i did not receive it. I also told her that i called in the morning and was told something completely different, she had NO explaination. They also were not able to tell me weither or not the order would be cancelled or not. Well I'm glad to know that online merchants are being better this Holiday then they were last Year..YAH RIGHT! I will never order from this place again! Buyers beware. if you don't like getting the run around stay away!

MVP

Based upon everything I've heard about MVP & the way they are doing business I have no doubt that they are on the way out. I would stay far away from them......

I have had both good and bad experiences with MVP.I am still waiting for my original order of shoes. At least they have started to communicate with me on that one.I did get my second order fast and in time for xmas.I'm watching them and will be glad if I get my shoes. Some of these companies that ship from different places and rely on other companies for their stock are bound to run into problems...

I am not completely sure but I heard on my local radio station a couple months back that MVP.com site might be shutting down. They are going bankrupt. There's another site to join the graveyard with pets.com, petopia.com and others.

I have had mixed experiences with MVP.com, and learned to deal directly with a manager when I have a problem. There is nothing they can do about delayed orders, but they can take care of speeding refunds on returns, etc. The customer service staff will do anything they can to prevent you from reaching a manager, but persist!

I will be surprised if this company is not gone by the end of the first quarter.

Re: MVP.com is the worst

MVP.com is the worst website I've ever purchased anything from. I completed a transaction on November 30. I printed out my transaction confirmation, and expected my purchase to arrive within the 5-8 days MVP.com quoted me. I waited and never received my purchased, although MVP.com had the time to charge my credit card. After 7 days, I received a notification from MVP.com that my item was "Located in Stock" and that I should receive an email notification stating when my items would be shipped. I waited another 5 days (12 days from purchase date) and received no email notification, nor a package in the mail.

So, I emailed them...SEVEN times over 6 days, and received the same automated response each time. I called their "customer service" number three separate times and waited on hold a total of 184 minutes. Each time I was placed in a queue while Christmas music played, over and over again. It's now 5 days before Christmas and I have not been able to get in touch with a single "live" person from MVP.com. I have never been so infuriated by a company in my life. Their lack of service and support is embarrassing and is an indication that the company will not be around much longer. I have ensured that no one I know will ever shop there.
