| Beware of Classic Closeouts.com
I bought clothes from this website last december, and returned the items within the specified period of returning the items. That was 3 months ago, but until now I did not get any response in email or phone calls. I don't have any refund on my credit card either. I keep on sending emails but it seems that they vanish in thin air. There is no phone number to call either. I want to let everybody know that beware of transacting business in this company. It only brings headache and aggravations. I am planning to contact Better Business Bureau and the Federal Agency in New York where they are registered, if you know someone who have the same thing happened to me, please contact me, maybe we can have more positive feedback if we go together. Thanks.

I would contact my credit card company and report this. Perhaps they will be able to give you a refund and pursue the merchant. I have heard of several cases of this company and they seem to have a reputation for doing this.

I have also purchased a product from Classic Closeouts. I made my purchase July 2005. I have emailed 3 times (August, September, Novemeber). I have received responses. However, the last response dated November stated that they were upgrading their computer system and this may be the reason for refund delay. I would also like to take action against this company. Whom do you contact for Internet FRAUD ? |

Just so everyone knows, I had a similar problem with this company. I contacted BBB of New York on Friday night and Monday morning I had my refund! So it works. I just filled out the online complaint form. I ordered my jeans in April and it took until August to get my money back. Anyway, I am happy now. |

Hi, And for those of you who'd like to give the BBB bureau a shot at their problems, this is the "online" link, you have to find the state the company is in, they transfer your complaint to the BBB in that area, and they take it from there; I used them once and had my refund plus 10% for my trouble, in a couple days. I am just so frustrated with that company, I placed my order 10/19/06 and still haven't received it. They don't thouroughly explain their shipping policy nor do they give you a contact number !!!!!!!!!!!!!! We work too hard for our money to be getting ripped off like this. So I contacted my credit union and guess what guys ??????? My credit union had their direct telephone number. I want to try and help anyone who's had issues with this company. Their non-published number where you can actually talk to a live person is 516-569-5390 This needs to stop. hope I helped someone by providing this information

DON'T SHOP HERE! I placed a few orders and got them as expected, but I sent one item back. They steal your money if you send it back. I have yet to recieve my refund over a month and a half later. I have emailed them and all they say is that the credit dept is looking into it. Plus, their stuff is crap mostly. Not worth the effort it takes to type in their address.

Hi, I just wanted to tell all of you other victims that after an exhausting fight with them, I finally see a credit return from these theives in my bank account. I was unable to get anywhere with these people until I contacted The Fixer in a local newspaper. I can't thank them enough for their help. I think I am happier to be rid of these scam artists than to get my money back. |
