Extremely bad experience with Yves Rocher customer service Yves Rocher has taught me what bad customer treatment really means. Three weeks ago as an advertising gimmick, Yves Rocher sent me their unsollicitated order form and catalogue by mail. I found the product descriptions interesting and sent in my order form along with a check for the full amount on September 16. Since then, there has been a long wait. I called them up twice in during the first two weeks and I was told that they never received my order and that my check must have got lost in the mail. Yesterday (on Oct 5), I received a letter from them saying that they received the order and that I should sent in another check for the amount since they did not receive any check from me. Today morning when I called the customer service to inquire about my check, they told me that they did receive the check and processed it on Sept 27. They gave me a lame excuse that the processing and order departments are different and one doesn't know what the other does. Then when I questioned why I, the customer, have to wait for an order for more than three weeks, the customer service representative at 1-800-321-3434 (their cusotmer service number) got angry with me and told me that it always takes at least 2 weeks (her exact words were "10 working days and that they don't work on the weekend!") to process the order and then may be a week or more for the order to actually go out and 1 more week for the order to really reach the customer. She told me that from the time I place the order, it will take atleast a month for me to really receive the product, and that too sent out from the US itself... Now, while still waiting for the products, I have lost all my interest in receiving them. My money has been taken 3 weeks back and I have not received anything for it.
When you all place orders with Yves Rocher, beware of the way they treat customers. Here the manufacturer is the king and the customer has to beg for the products after they pay for them. Thanks.
