I ordered from OurHouse.com on Friday, Nov 24th. (They were having a sale 30% off everything, up to $100) The item I ordered, a Hoover Steam Cleaner Vacuum, was in stock and the site said "leaves warehouse in 1 day"
A week later I get an e-mail saying that the item is not in stock and is backordered for 2-4 wks. I check the site again and it no longer says it's in stock. I wait and them notice today that they have recredited my webcert account the total amount. I check the site again and it says that the Vacuum is in stock. I call cs and they tell me the item is backordered.
Normally, I would not worry about this except that I hear they are cancelling big orders left and right (namely, a Playhouse Climber and Slider).
I am getting the feeling that they are trying not to honor any orders for large expensive items because we got too much of a deal. What do you think?
