Beware of ordering from MY Twinn

I just wanted to get the word out to beware of ordering a doll from My Twinn. I ordered a doll from there that was shipped on November 7 and still have not recieved. I have tried to contact them to get the item tracked and they continue to give me the run around after I hold for around 45 minutes each time. This was going to be from Santa but it looks as though my 8 year old is going to be extremely sad on Christmas Day! Please don't put yourself in this situation and steer clear of this company!!! It is too late at this point for me to get another one but you can save yourself form this stress by not doing business with them. Pass this on to anyone that has a child that may ever want one.

It is sold by My Twinn and the website is MyTwinn.com.

Oh I feel so bad for your DD! And those are soooo expensive too. You would think their customer service would be better.

Strange my Sister ordered one for my niece whos 4 a few months ago and it hadnt come in yet so she called and they said they never got her order. So she had to cancel since it wouldnt be in before Christmas. We order one before and had no problem, it was a few years back maybe they r busier than they can handle now.

MyTwinn is going out of business and is looking for a company to buy their company.

Go to their site and there is a note about it.

Thanks for letting me know they are going out of business, my daughter has 2 of these dolls and one get the nw "boy" doll for my son a few months ago, there are a few more accessories I would like to order before they shut down.

I didn't have any problem with this company, we have 3 dolls and I also got one for my nephew this last year and had no problems. Sorry about your experience.

Are there any alternatives to My Twinn? Just recieved the doll from My Twinn, and the hair color is wrong (even though I sent two color school pictures). Ordered over a month ago, and just received the doll - too late to return for Christmas. Now I need to purchase a doll look alike stat. Please help. FYI: My Twinn folks are not very friendly, helpful, or accomodating - and there is a $35 fee to retun!
