Ah, a breath of fresh air! I just called to check on order I had made with them on the 17th. I had received an email on the 19th explaining that the order would be delayed in shipping. (They stated this is not normal and apologized.) My order from the 23rd arrived today. My first order used the Gift Spot and the new customer coupons. After all the posts about the problems with the gift certificate from Gift Spot I called to see if I needed to reorder, pay for part of the order or what (I wanted that chocolate!). I talked with CS named Robert who actually had a chuckle in his voice! Told him I was one of those poor Giftspot dupes and asked him to check on my order. Bless him, 5 minutes after that phone call my order reads ready to ship (no cost to me,,, yea!) Just some info, my order numbers are over 20,000 digits apart. They must be BUSY! with this mess. Maybe we should start a "Golden Phone" award for those sites with excellent customer service. !!!I'm in heaven... two hours after above post my order has shipped *sound of standing ovation and wails of gratitude from this chocoholic/shopoholic* [This message has been edited by shonyB (edited 02-25-2000).] |

I am glad you had such a great experience with them ShonyB. I love Mothernature too, I gave up on the GiftSpot thing (see Stinky Deals), but Mothernature is exceptional. I have ordered from them twice, and would again. I am glad to see they are handling this mess with a little grace and humor.

Agreed - MN CS helped me w/my Giftspot GC order - and I could tell I wasn't the 1st one to be calling. I received my order right away, and the CSR was very nice when I called. CS is a thankless job and often involves people calling w/problems. That's why when things are wrong, I let them know. When things went great - I let them know I appreciate it. I also believe in positive reinforcement. If a company knows that they earned repeat business due to great CS - they'll be more likely to 1) reward the employee who delivered that great CS and 2) they'll keep it up. The only exception - even when I say "honey, thanks ever so much for doing the dishes..." it still doesn't happen again! |
