Success with many Rebates

Hi all. Because I have read a few posts where folks think rebates are for fools, I wanted to share that I have had considerable success over the past weeks with Rebate Checks rolling in. And 2 of these were directly tied to a major marketing distributor who went into receivership ( I think that's the right terminology ) but the stores made good on the rebates - and I did not have to pursue it. Using info I picked up on this Site ( Thank You, Everyone ! ) I carefully followed directions when submitting my Rebate forms, and kept copies just in case. My wife is tremendously pleased - we have received $40 from Staples for a CenDyne CD-RW for her pc; $9 which made a set of Computer Speakers free; a Rebate from OfficeMax for a CenDyne CR-RW for my pc; another $50 from OfficeMax for my CD-RW, and $20 from Symantec for softwae bought at Staples. My wife had been a Doubting Thomas but now she has faith in me. Follow the instructions, keep copies, and be patient - Stores and Manufacturers DO make good on Rebates !
