I have visited this site for a long time but never posted.
Now is the time! Beware pottery barn kids new catalog with lots of "free shipping" items. I ordered the halloween treat basket with liner. In the catalog the liner is $15. Imagine my surprise when I went to the store and saw it for $9. Hmmm.. looks as if shipping is factored into the price. Fluke? No way. Called 6 stores at random and discovered it's $9 everywhere. Also discovered the treat bags at $16.50 in the catalog (free shipping) are $10 at the store! Am currently waiting on call back from corporate office after lies, lies, lies from customer service.

Oh, and guess what? Target called yesterday. Apparently my sons first birthday photos will NOT be coming in. They were ruined during processing. I get three free portrait sheets though. Wow!

I am so glad that I stumbled across this! And a few years after your original post! I contacted pottery barn kids today for an internet item that was "on sale" for $150.00 plus shipping of $21. When I called the store they had it for $99.00. Thanks to you I don't have to waste $71!!

Yay to unwasted monies

I was about to place an order for over 300.00 with Pottery Barn Kids over the phone using their 800 number. When I asked the sales rep if I could receive 'free shipping' she said 'No.' Although the sales rep was very kind and trying to her best to help find a promo code for me so I could save some money on the order, she did not have a useful code. I asked to speak to a supervisor and basically told him I was ordering 300.00 worth of merchandise from Pottery BArn Kids and would he please waive the shipping fee of 34.00. He told me there was so way he could accomodate me. So, therefore I cancelled my order and now have placed a 350.00 with Target and have saved on the shipping. Shame on Pottery Barn Kids.
