Baffled RiteAid Single Check Rebates {venting a little}

I just got my very first rebate check through this program...

It took long enough... This check is for my FEBRUARY purchases!!!

I've been e-mailing these guys so much trying to get my rebate checks.... They keep giving me the same response, basically; "We sent your check. We have to make sure it has not been cashed. If it has not been cashed, we will reissue it to you..."

And to top it off:
I'm STILL waiting for my rebate check from my MARCH purchases!!!

My sister's haven't had any problems getting theirs! And the only two times, one right after the other, that I did it... it got "lost" or whatever!!! ARGHHHH!!!!!

Well good luck to anyone that is using this rebate program!

I've been using them for a while and have had my checks arrive quickly. My only complaint is that ocassionally, they don't credit me for something. I have written to them about it and eventually it gets straightened out.

I would blame the post office, and not them. It is VERY possible for several pieces of mail coming from the same place to get lost. I had a friend in the same state as me, who could never get her letters to me, so we had to resort to only emails. It was very annoying, but not her fault.
I have never had a problem with the Rite Aid rebates. Do you mail in the form or do it online? Maybe there are 2 different handling offices, depending on which form you use, and you could try the other method.

I've been e-mailing these guys so much trying to get my second rebate check.... They keep giving me the same response, basically; "We sent your check. We have to make sure it has not been cashed. If it has not been cashed, we will reissue it to you..."

I'm STILL waiting for my rebate check from my MARCH purchases!!!

Needless to say, I have not tried this program for a third time...

It may well be the fault of the postal system, but if the checks were not delivered to me, and have not been cashed by me, then it is Rite-Aids responsibility to re-issue the check to me. I have a friend that is a manager at a Rite-Aid pharmacy, and he's the one that told me this.

But I've basically given up hope of ever seeing the second rebate check...

Re: RiteAid Single Check Rebates {venting a little}

I've used their online method of rebate submission, and I have to say I think it's super cool. I've never had a problem with it.

Sorry, Beffie.

I'm sorry, Beffie. I'm really surprised to hear you're having problems, especially since most checks arrive 2 weeks after request. I hope you get the second one soon.

Re: RiteAid Single Check Rebates {venting a little}

You know, I never did get the check from my March purchases... And I never have tried for #3...

I'm telling ya, if it weren't for bad luck, we'd have no luck at all...

Re: RiteAid Single Check Rebates {venting a little}

Has anyone had problems with "waiting for data"? I have been waiting on one receipt for 7 days and one for 2 days. Normally, it only takes 1-2 days, but the site says up to 7 days. Should I write to them yet?

Re: RiteAid Single Check Rebates {venting a little}

I think the current rebate period expires on 12/15, so you still have some time. There probably was some trouble with the store's computer. I'd wait a couple more days, maybe the first of December.

I think Rite-Aid's rebate program is one of the best! No filling in forms, no sending out stuff in the mail. Plus, they usually have a bunch of freebies. Which reminds me...I better pick up some Oral-B floss pretty soon!
