OMG This is by far the worst company I have ever purchased from!
I ordered airline tickets online which were from RI to Fl. or atleast they should have been anyway! after checking, double checking and triple checking before I hit the purchase button...on the confirmation page the reservations came up from Fl to RI and back.....
Well I called the company and told them cancel that purchase. They agreed. After that I decided I didn't want to purchase through them at all. I mean if a mistake that big was made on the website I wasn't taking any chances with that company.
So I ordered through my regular website (Travelocity) who I trust and have never had any trouble with. I figured i'd rather pay a little more and know I would get to my destination and back.
Well 2 days later I get a phone call from discountfares.com saying we processed those flights for you. I couldn't believe it! I said I told you to cancel them. And she said well we know but...man was I mad!
So now I go home and check my bank account to find that all my money is on hold with trasactions going uncleared, insufficient funds fees. So I call the bank, not only did discountfares.com charge me for these tickets once.....but they charged me twice for tickets I didn't want and cancelled within 3 minutes!
So I call them to have them fax my bank stating they would not be claiming on the charge so the bank could release the hold...they did and everything seemed fine until 8pm lastnight when discountfares.com pulled the purchase price for 6 tickets from my account....again I am overdrawn with insufficient funds fees. I called the bank and their hands are tied now because the funds were guarenteed through my bank card and discountfares.com says oh well we can't do anything until monday when the supervisor comes back.
I am soooooooooooo angry. So now I get to sit here and watch my checking go into the red because of these incompitent idiots!

Sorry I just had to vent and wanted to warn you all to be careful if dealing with this company.

WOW! What a big mess. I'd be sooo angry too! Hope every thing gets cleared up soon. Now I'll know to avoid that company like it's the plague.
