 AMAZON is amazing! (Good news) I had placed an order for a laptop, as a gift to myself, on 21-Dec knowing that I would probably not get it before January. I even chose AMAZON's super saver shipping and it warned me that delivery would not be until 6-Jan. I didn't really care. Well, guess who came knocking on my door on 24-Dec? It was Santa, dressed up as a UPS man. It took only 4 days for my order to be delivered, even though they told me to expect 3 weeks. That's good news, especially after reading other people post about how long delivery has taken for them. | I ordered an RF modulator and a book from them.....did the same thing....went with the free shipping....since I wasn't in that much of a hurry to get them.....said they would be shipped Dec. 27....would arrive approx. Jan 6...... It was shipped on Dec. 23.....from Campbellsville, KY.....and was delivered on Dec. 24!!! Yep.....ONE DAY!!!!  I was VERY impressed!

| I just had a similar experience. I ordered a road atlas lat Monday night and it showed up today (Thirsday). I had just got an e-mail saying that the atals had shipped out earlier in the day. I was shocked that it came so fast! |
