Angry

After only doing a tiny bit of online shopping last Christmas, I decided to go ahead and do most of this year's shopping online so I can get better deals. I've now ordered from eToys twice, KBKids, WBStore, and Amazon. The ONLY thing I got was one order from eToys... the rest were all cancelled because they ran out! What's the point of spending time shopping, sending in payment info, and then being told - sorry they're all gone. Online stores are going to quickly lose all my business at this rate.

Awwww, 'mommie... don't give up too fast. This will be my 3rd Xmas for online shopping and I love it!
Yes, I do get the occasional out-of-stock notice (like WBStore ran out of the PowerPuff Girls T for my granddaughter), but I would be sooooo sad if I couldn't shop online....

Yeah, don't give up yet! Maybe you're just trying to get in on deals that everyone else is trying to get in on too. I did almost all my X-mas shopping online last year and was amazed at the great deals I got. I did get one or two out of stock e-mails but still got everything I ordered in time for X-mas.
Give it a chance, you'll be glad you did!

Not everything needs to be done online!!! Even though I'm always online and most of my friends would accuse me of being a net freak, sometimes the old fashioned way is better. Obviously I like getting deals and freebies online, but sometimes you have to actually see and feel the merchandise, and take it home w/you immediately!!!

I dont do a whole lot of deal shopping on the net as I prefer to pay with cash, not credit, so I am actually on my 3rd layaway for christmas this year! I start right after easter and am almost finished!!

I have ordered from KB, eToys and Amazon (last Christmas and already this year). I have had no problems at all. I had to return one item to Amazon because I found out the person I got it for already had it.
Return and credit was quick and easy. I know eToys has prepaid return labels in the box if needed. KB stuff can be returned to local KB stores for credit. I have gotten some very good deals - try to shop the specials and use coupons when possible. Besides the fact that the UPS man gets to haul the stuff to my door instead of me, I also save money because when I go to a store to pick up sale
stuff I always buy other stuff I see as well.
If I can stay out of the stores all Christmas season I'll be happy.

I don't have a credit card that I use online either but I do www.freeride.com and www.milesource.com and on freeride you can buy webcertificates and you open a mastercard account with it. You can use it anywhere that accepts mastercard. I've done ALL my Christmas shopping this way and I'm about finished. You can do the same thing at Amazon too. You can get a $10 webcertificate for 1120 pts or a $10 gift certificate for 1000 at Amazon. Amazon gc's are good for 1 year and Webcertificates are good for 3 years now. Try those two incentive point programs, if you aren't already and you could be through shopping before Christmas and have everything paid for and not have spent a dime of your own money
