I am still waiting on the Canon Publishing Suite for an order I placed on July 31. I called customer service, and they told me it was out of stock. So, they can't reorder it for me. And guess what? The $20 coupon was not applied to my order, so I ended up paying full price for the other item I had ordered to make the total go over $50. And, they can't credit my ccard for $20, instead they will issue me another $20 coupon for my next order! Aren't there enough coupons for Staples floating around already?!! Bumm deal...

I ran into a similar situation but the outcome was much different. I had a $25 off $75 coupon and they ran out of the 2 software titles with rebates (totaling $50). I was billed $24 for the remaining product. When I called customer service they let me order an item for $1 (pencils, i think) including Shipping, then gave me a $25 credit on my credit card. When the delivery company could not find my address (and left an answering mach message requesting a callback - with no return phone number - velocity was the name of the delivery co) I called staples and they sent out a NEW package of pencils at no charge and said if the original package came i could keep it. My final cost was $0 and i received the pencils and a $24 item free. Call again... they can do much better for you! Good luck, Teamfargo |

I found the greatest place!!! I too had a terrible problem with Staples...I went to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or
Register Now] and registered a complaint! They forward it to staples and ask for a resolution! It takes a little time to fill out the complaint but it worked for me within 2 or 3 days Staples was emailing me asking me what they can do to make me happy!!! I also have used this for another place I ordered from and got good results with them too!!

cindypooh i have realized its a waste of time to deal with e-tailers that overcharge your card just call up your CC company (never use a debit card/ check card over the net because you have absolutely NO protection if you get overcharged) and tell them what happened and let them deal with the e-tailers bank merchant! hope this helps! |
