Every time I try to order from them, they end up either cancelling my order or the tracking system just "can't find" my order. Like it never existed. So I just spent 30 minutes on hold and it finally sounds like it's going to ring through to someone and guess what???? I got disconnected!!!!!! ![]() So now I'm trying to talk to a live web chat help and I'm number 15 in line. Ok. I've been inline for at least 20 minutes and it says that now I'm #13 in line. Brother! Update. Okay. Finally got a real person on the chat screen. She said that it should take about 3 weeks to be delivered and not to worry about it just yet. More as it unfolds.... I hear you. I ordered a high chair and they canceled my order saying they were out of stock. Then I ordered 2 booster seats a week later only to get an email saying they canceled my order again. I did some major complaining (I shot off numerous complaint letters via Greentooth, Internet fraud protection, etc...) I called them just the other day to ask why, if my order was canceled, they had charged my CC for the whole amount. I was told they shipped it. They did not notify me that they canceled my cancel??? Then, on top of it all, I have to write ebates to advise them not to cancel my rebate because Babygear is indeed sending my items even though they canceled my order??????????? What a messed up company!!! I wouldn't of bothered buying from them but I couldn't pass up the sale items. Best price anywhere!!! I guess a little grief for a good deal is okay once in a while. |

I have to agree. I've been on hold as we speak for 20 minutes. I tried to call last week when HALF of my shipment came - packing slip said the changing table and stroller were included in the shipment but i did not receive them. Never did get through on the phone last week. Have sent several e-mails and NO RESPONSE. And yes, i too have been billed on my credit card in full for the order. I am really p_________________!!!!!!!!!!! Anybody have any ideas how to get through to the company to talk to someone?!?!?!?! |

I am also waiting for part of my order. I got a crib mattress but no crib. That's sort of useless! Remember when this company was babyfurniture.com anyone? We all went through the same aggrevation when they did their so called $20 off deal. We all got the run around for so long we were pulling out our hair. Finally...my friend (who also ordered) called the presindent/ceo directly. I can't remember how she got his name and number but it worked! His personal secretary handled everything directly. I followed her lead and called him and emailed him myself and presto...my order appeared. I'm kicking myself because I no longer have his # but I do remember that his first name is "Preston". If I don't get my order by the 21st (my 3 weeks) then I'm getting on the horn and asking for this guy again. I just hope he's still there. I did manage to chat online with someone about my crib and they told me that certain items, such as my crib, is going to be sent directly from the manufacturer and they take the full 2-3 weeks to ship. I'm really glad you posted this because I was going to order a toddler bed from them. I have called many times & sent email which was never answered. I had placed an order with them a while back, it would have been a really good deal. Well they said my credit card was not approved and that I should email them my credit card info. I told them that I would not email credit card info because it is not secure. I asked if I could call it in. They said that they could not take credit card info over the phone unless I cancelled my order and placed a whole new order. I didn't want to do that since I had used a coupon and several of the items were on clearance and no longer available on the website. I just told them to forget it and cancelled my order. I'll never go back to that site.

I agree this company SUCKS!!!! They charged my credit card twice for a car seat that I purchased, pretty much told me I was lying when I called them. After 4 months of sending faxes of my bank statement and sending them at least 5 e-mails, and spending about 12 hours on the phone with them 10 of that being on hold I finaly got my money back, but still no appologies. When you make a complaint they will not hand you to anyone in charge they just say they have to write down the complaint and send it to their superiors.... this company gets a BIG THUMBS DOWN!!!! ------------------ |

I hope the CEO does check out this board. Especially "stinky deals" section. This company has been brought up sooooo many times. I see similar complaints on three other boards I visit (I've been shopping on the internet for about a year now). I have never ordered from these people (even with babies all over my family) and I never will. |

I almost died of a heart attack (and it looked like the UPS guy might too!) because my crib just arrived. I am absolutely shocked. I must say I had zero confidence that this would arrive. I hope you all receive your orders soon and are charged the right amounts too! Good luck Ginger |
