Check out this message that I received: Did anyone else get the following message from Mothernature.com? If so, I wonder if this is money that they owe us. I am considering contesting this with my credit card company. ---------------MESSAGE--------------------- Thank you for choosing MotherNature.com as your source for natural products and healthy advice. We have recently upgraded our warehouse inventory and order fulfillment systems. Unfortunately, this change resulted in a duplicate discount on your recent order. You were supposed to receive a $15 discount, but this discount was issued twice resulting in a discount of $30. We have corrected the error and will be charging your credit card the additional $15. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this error may have caused. I would contest it, or at least send a real nasty letter. Usually the nasty letter is sufficient. Last year KBKids had a deal posted for 5 packs of Pokemon cards for $3.95. I ordered 50 packs. After they confirmed my order, charged me, and shipped the items, they told me that the website had been in error and that it was one pack of cards for $3.95. They were "correcting" the error by only sending me 10 packs for the same price that I thought I was going to pay for 50 packs. Not to mention their outrageous shipping costs. I emailed them a seriously nasty letter saying how dare they assume that I would just be content to only get a fifth of what I thought I had paid for. They should have asked me if that was okay before shipping the order. They ended up telling me to keep the 10 packs of cards they had sent, and they credited back my credit card for the full amount they had charged me. So I got 10 packs of cards for free.

I got the same letter. This is different from other bad deals because 1) It was $15 off $30 not $30 off $30 2) My receipt said $15.36 and my credit card bill said 36 cents 3) It was a legitimate and understandable error. 4) Mothernature.com has been real good to many people for a long time regarding coupons Yes, computers and sometimes people (though rarely) make mistakes. They are NOT taking away a coupon, just applying a very fair coupon correctly. I will be the first one to criticize a company when I think they have done wrong (read my posts on the buy.com $50 off deal or the anotheruniverse.com "illegal coupon", or my screen name - which I stand by proudly) and you will see. This is legit; these people are not trying to take something away. If you saw your credit card bill, you pretty much knew what happened. They could have just charged you and not told you (since my receipt was right, I suppose yours was too). Mothernature.com is a class act. Quit yer *****en... |

I havent ordered from them this month. But I do so on a regular basis. I have always enjoyed the customer service that this company provides. I'm sorry you didn't get to have a good deal get A LOT better. But CyberrebatesSucks is right... Other companies wouldn't even send a letter. You would find out after after the fact. |
