I've done 2 surveys for them and have yet to be paid anything. They sent me email about having problems with the company they were using to pay credit cards and then they said that I should sign up for paypal and I would be paid through them. I suggest waiting until they start paying out before signing up.

I also did 2 surveys. I actually had to do one of them 3 times because they kept having system problems. But, I have yet to see any $$$ yet!!! I won't be doing any more... I guess they deserve the nick-name they've gotten on a lot of the forums...RhinoScam ------------------ [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] |

I did some research through the newsgroups and listservs after reading these posts, and it doesn't look good. They say they're having problems with their credit card processor, but that they intend to make good on all that they owe. I, too signed up with them on 7/6/00 and gave them my credit card number for the $15.95 setup fee. I emailed them yesterday and told them that I've read that they're having problems, and I'd like them to either tell me definitively that they'll be able to pay me as promised, or else refund my $15.95 ASAP. If I don't receive a credit immediately, I still have until 9/6 to get a letter to my credit card bank to dispute the charge and get a credit. I suggest that anyone else who paid by credit card within the last 60 days get in touch with their bank now to get their money back. You only have 60 days to dispute the charge. From what I found out there, it seems that no one has gotten paid since February. At least not those who are speaking up. Arly. [Only registered and activated users can see links. I join Rhinopoint at the end of February when the signup fee was $12.95. Then completed two surveys and was told towards the end of June to join paypal to receive my payments due to their problems with the Credit Card Merchant. So I joined paypal which also gave me $5.00 just for joining. I then emailed rhinopoint about my two overdue survey payments and also sent a payment request thru paypal. The begining of July I received $44.00 in my paypal account for the two surveys. Four months was a long time to wait but I guess worth the 12.95 investment. Note I was only request to fill out two surveys. They haven't had any surveys for the past few months. Hoping they will have more surveys in the future now that they have a payment system in place. All I can say is make sure you join paypal thru the link they give you and with the email address you used to sign up for rhinopoint. Then make sure to send a payment request thru paypal for the amount you are owed with your member number. |

So, are you saying that you only got paid for 2 months because that's all the surveys they had? Or did they pay you even on months they didn't have surveys? It's good to know someone is actually getting paid by them. I emailed them on Saturday and am waiting to see if they'll respond before I contact my credit card company to get me my $15.95 back. Here's my latest update on Rhinopoint. I emailed them and told them I'd been reading on the internet that they were having financial problems and I wanted to know if they were going to make good on their deal, and if not, I wanted my $15.95 back. They emailed me back today and all they said is, "your account is closed and refund issued." Hopefully they really will issue a refund, but if not, I'll just dispute it with my credit card bank. They didn't even attempt to make me believe that they're still solvent. [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] |

Never was paid for not filling out a survey and haven't seen a new survey in a few months. |
