I've been trying to contact them, but email isn't doing much. Anyone know of a phone number for them?

Please Please Please, I have said it before and I will say it again:
1) Cyberrebate has no phone or fax number for customer use.
2) Cyberrebate prefers to communicate with customers via email
3) Cyberrebate, by their own admission, does not respond to emails - they get too many of them.
4) The emails they do get probably do not say "you are doing a great job, keep up the good work".
5) Cyberrebate will ignore registered letters, they prefer email.
6) Cyberrebate has been investigated by the New York District Attorneys Office for Internet Fraud (probably due to happy customers saying "Hey this is great check it out!" Please contact the New York State District Attorney Internet Fraud divission and tell them your story.
7) The rebates they send are NOT NOT NOT manufacturers rebates; they are cyberrebate rebates. So, basically they make money off of the stupid little surveys they ask you to fill out.
Lets think about this. How much are those surveys worth. I think not much. They have to take your money, give you a cheap piece of junk, hold your money for 16weeks, and send you your money back. They also have overhead - light bills, rent, payroll etc. How do they stay afloat? I do not know, maybe it is a Ponzi Scheme (robbing Peter to pay Paul)...
9) I am truly sorry you have to go through this with them. I went through **** trying to get my merchandise then even worse trying to get my rebates.

Rolling eyes

I never had a problem getting merchandise from them. The rebates do take a LONG time, though. Just have to stay on top of them. Keep copies of everything, and I mean everything, and check your account and order status everyday. This is what I did and I got all 12 of my rebates. Took about 14 weeks, which is what they said on the site.

I think they do have a phone number - I saw it posted on another site, and if I do come across it again, I'll post it here. You are, however, probably going to have to communicate with them via email. Be forceful in your emails and let them know you are serious (I had to do this because they *demoted* two of my rebates from Complete to Pending) Basically, they claim to have never received my rebate submissions even though the rebates had been marked Complete just days earlier. I let them know it was unacceptable and the rebates did get changed back to Complete, and as I said earlier, I did get ALL of my rebates. Hang in there!

Baffled

I placed a $150 order with Cyberrebate about 4 months ago. About two months ago I remembered that I was waiting on the rebates. It felt like I was waiting forever. When I checked my account online it gave an approximate date for when I should receive the rebate checks. It said 8/4/00, which was 16 weeks from when I ordered the merchandise. Low and behold, the checks came in the mail today 8/7/00.

In all honesty, I was becoming very skeptical about the site, but they delivered when they said they would. Hope things work out for you.

When I ordered by merchandise from Cyberrebate, my experience was:

1) the merchandise was often a lot "cheaper" than it looked and sounded on the website.

2) the paperwork to do was EXTENSIVE to get your rebate -- as if they are trying to find a way to keep it from being worth it to file for your rebate.

3) the rebates took FOREVER to get. i'm sure they are making some money in interest on the money we pay before they write the checks back to us.

4) however, all that being said, i did get my merchandise, and i did get my rebate, even though it was even longer to wait than the time they said I should expect to wait.

caveat emptor

Just received my first (and only thus far) rebate check. It took the 14-16 weeks, as promised. We do know they are earning interest on this money, do we not?? BUT, we are getting free (granted, overpriced) things..or reasonably free if you go for the stuff that costs something (why do that?? ).
Have sent in another order...more this time. Hopefully I'll be as pleased with it as with this one.
