I did that deal that was posted a while back, 40 batteries for something around $10 plus there was a $6 mail in rebate posted on the site. I sent in the info, only to be told that Heritage electronics is not a qualified store for me to get the rebate. I started thinking back to my order and remembered that I had also ordered a 60 minute phone card for $6.98. I got a shipping confirmation, but the card never arrived. I emailed Heritage electronics about all of this. They agreed to look into the rebate issue if I faxed them all of the rebate information, but they told me that they couldn't (wouldn't) do anything about the phone card, because the order was placed in June. Like that's my fault!!! This company cheated me out of $12.98, and insulted me. They definitely lost me as a customer, and I hope that everyone double checks their order before it's too late to fix any mistakes.

I did that battery deal too but haven't gotten around to doing the rebate. Are you saying the battery manufacturer returned your rebate stuff and said the Heritage store wasn't acceptable???? Wow- I've never heard of such a thing. That really sucks. I wonder if I should even waste my time sending in the paperwork now. And I bought AA and AAA. Sorry to hear about the phone card too. |

4erika, I wonder why they told you that? I did the same Heritage deal. I just received 2 $3.00 rebate checks from Maxell last friday. I sent in the rebate forms with a copy of my receipt(a copy of my email order comfirmation), it took about 6 weeks to get the checks. If it wasn't a qualifying store I wonder how mine got through. That would make me mad too if I had gotten the same thing told to me. Rebhun, you might want to try and send yours in too, you only have a stamp to lose at this point since you already did the purchase. Who knows, you might get the$6. |
