guess it depends on where you live, and what store you are using. My area uses winn dixie, and Although I can get my groceries cheaper at food lion, I sighned up to take advantage of the diapers, whick I can get alot cheaper using priceline, expecially with the tokens. I was disappointed to not be able to use manufacturer coupons, but it will allow you to use any store sales, and I also use valupage. That gives me a coupon back, (at this time my diapers are being offered on valupaeg) around $1.50, which is good for another shopping trip, on any item I choose. It has been a benefit to me. As for your problem with expensive gas, we all are going throught that, and the way I figure, that's one of those things that you HAVE to HAVE. Also, read through all the info again, I remember something on there, about them refunding you the difference if you find it cheaper at the store. You have to send in your receipt or something, but they will do it. This may help samve you even more. I would also check that weeks adds for what the store is offering on sale before I actually purchased items throught priceline. If you inow what your store is charging, then you can go in and try to get it cheaper than that sale price. Make sense. I do this all the time, so if you have any more question regarding this or manufacturer coupons, email me direct, and I'll be happy to help you.
