Alladvantage FRAUD NOTICE? :(

ohhhh I'm so maaaaaddddd. I got this in my email today. in ALL CAPS "alladvantage payments suspended due to fraud" (something like that)

It said they "detected" programing that is used for fradulent purposes (HUH?) and my payments are suspended

Since when is staying online 10 - 15 hrs a day a bad thing? I do a lot of click for pay and of course this board.

They want me to read the rules and sign something saying I've read the rules. But I've done nothing wrong!!!

I emailed them about this and told them I hope this is a glitch due to the upgrade on the 1st and 2nd ant that it will resolve. I have heard the letters have gone out to a lot of people.

But I am really mad right now

My evil twin says that alladvantage just doesn't want to pay anyone anymore and they needed that money for their upgrades. (Maybe they should join some surf for cash programs.. they could be referred under me)

Thanks for the chance to vent. There just aren't enough mad faces to express myself. I really need a signature line with something like the MGM lion roaring its fool head off for this post, so just imagine it right about

this happened to me (been posting about it at Almost Shoplifting)

I've written them several times, but they've yet to respond.. It's upsetting because the letter doesn't even have my name or member ID attatched to it~ so how do they know who i am?

here's just ONE of the letters I wrote them:

"I don't know why I just got this letter, but it makes no sense to me.

I hardly ever use my All Advantage bar, as you can tell by how much I've earned (how much time I've spent with it on) since I first signed up for the account.
($5.00 or so in 2-3 months!)

My husband signed up to use AA as well, under my name, but he has never used his account~ there is no way for us to switch users, if he was going to use the bar to
earn his own money.

As for any kind of "device" I would have used, there is a program someone sent me to stay on line while I was out of the room doing something, but it messes up my computer so I can't use it.

If there is something in particular you are accusing me of, or you have knowledge of something I don't, I would appreciate your telling me."

it makes me feel good to know there was some "glitch" in their system, but what if it wasn't?

Dont really understand why they sent that message to you. I have been regularly receiving about 30 bucks a month from AllAdvantage, its not a fortune but hey its free money. Hope i dont get a notice like you did.

I haven't had any problems with All Advantage either. In fact, AA is my favorite paid to surf bar. I haven't downloaded the new version though, thought I'd wait to see if any bugs developed.

Nothing yet... I'll wait two or three more days for a response before I try again. Maybe they're swamped with queries.
I had two friends try to cheer me up by telling me they *do* use some programs and run several accounts but haven't gotten the notice. I try not to get angry about that too.. (Heavy sigh) Had to try for extra deals today just to cheer myself up

OK... now I"m REALLY mad! First AA sends me some totally non-personal e-mail with big bold letters stating I'm committing fraud against them (and I wrote them several times about this and they never responded!!)
and now, these freaks are writing me another non-personal e-mail saying "we send this out to everyone...we are singling no one out".

HELLO?!?! PARDON ME??!?! I'm gonna take it pretty darn seriously when you send me a letter with "ALL ADVANTAGE PAYMENTS SUSPENDED DUE TO FRAUD" in the subject title!

I've already deleted their stupid bar from my computer, and I've had it to my wits end with their "customer service"!

Got the same notice.
First they accuse me of Fraud.
Then they say I *MIGHT* be spamming.
BUT I'm "not to take it personally"?

My husband is still doing his bar, but I just deleted my stuff, told my refer-ees (is that what they're called?) thank-you and let them know what happened to me. Two of them were worried about getting stabbed in the back by the company, but they are going to finish out the rest of hrs for this month take their checks and go somewhere else.

My 19" monitor usually has 7 bars and a few smaller windows running. I'll just add another one where Alladvantage (take advantage more like it) was. Off to check out the spam forum to see what's new there.


(side note: checked out your posts at A-S. Now I find myself lurking over there! Guess I'll "turn myself in and go register" see you on the boards.

just today, i FINALLY hear back from All Advantage, and guess what they have to say?

"We have evaluated your response to the suspension of your AllAdvantage.com account. AllAdvantage considers this a very serious matter. Under the terms of our agreement with you, we are within our rights to cancel your account, effective immediately.
However, we will assume that you may not have realized the seriousness of your actions. Therefore, instead of outright cancellation, we will take any balance in your account -- since it is fraudulently
obtained -- and void it. You will be allowed to retain your membership and your referrals.

As a matter of policy, we have recorded this
incident. In the future, any activities that violate our Anti-Spam policy will result in immediate and irrevocable termination of your account. "

They're taking away $5.00!!!!!! HOW STUPID!!! If anyone you know has gotten some sort of warning from AA, or has had ANY problems from them, I suggest that you seriously consider cancelling your membership!

Lynx, you wont get paid until you accumulate $20 in your account (altho I heard they recently raised that amount to $30, Im not sure) Anyway, whatever the minimum is now, when you have that much in your account they will mail a check, but they dont mail it until the following month between the 20th & 30th. So for instance if you had the minimum amount in your account as of the end of May, they will mail the check between June 20th & 30th. You may want to check tho, cause I know they have changed some terms recently, but i havent been following them to closely. I just try to forget about them and that way when the check comes its a nice suprise. I still don't understand why some of the other people got fraud notices though, thats really weird but so far they haven't sent me any.

Just last week I finally got a letter from the BBB, regarding my complaint against AA.

When I got the original e-mails from AA, I was p*ssed- they were accusing me for no reason. I kept writing them (obviously I was very angry), but kept getting the same form letter saying "perhaps you didn't know what you were doing was against our policy"..or some crap.

Well, AA responded to my complaint to the BBB by saying that I did not even deny that I used an illegal device to trick the bar into running...and infact admitted I used one. UH...NO!

But of course they said they happily kept my account open, only taking out the $9.00 or so they say I earned within 6 months or so of using the paybar.

Alladvantage sucks!!!, They are thinking up new ways to make it hard to make money like upgrade there bar 2 times in 2 months..most of your ref don't know they are not getting paid while they surf...I also got that stupid fraud letter, I have 300 people under me and they just don't want to pay anymore!
