I know there has been a thread about this company running on the general discussion board. I felt it was time to move it to the "appropriate" heading. I am fed up with cyberrebate.com. I had one item that was never marked complete for the rebate - it was always marked pending. Cyberrebate told me to give it 8 weeks to be marked complete. At the 7 week point, I emailed customer service telling them the item was STILL marked pending for the rebate. It took them a WEEK to respond to me, and what did they tell me? They say they never received the rebate submission and I need to resubmit, but I need to make sure I get it in before the expiration date (March 31). Well, the expiration date is two months from the date of purchase. They made me wait 7 weeks before they would even check on it and then I had to wait another week for their response. If I had waited the 8 weeks like they told me to check on it, then by the time they had responded to me, the rebate would have already been expired. Is this part of their scam? Lose the rebate, and then wait until it is expired before they respond to you? They must lose rebates a LOT as they have a fax number that is strictly used for resubmissions. It is bad enough that you have to wait so long for your rebates to be processed, but it seems they handle them rather carelessly. Now I have to find a fax machine and resubmit all of the rebate nonsense to them. I will NOT use them again! I know several people have had good luck with them, but I am just not happy with their carelessness and slow customer service responses. They need an 800 number so that you don't have to wait a week to have something checked out.
