Cut and pasted from an email I received from them: Dear ibeauty.com customer,

Unfortunately, the SPARKS code that you tried to use to place this order is invalid because it was a promotion
intended only for Sparks.com customers who made a qualifying purchase on the Sparks.com site.

-- If you ARE a Sparks customer, you are eligible for a coupon. Please write to Sparks.com's customer service
department at: customerservice@sparks.com and provide them with your original sparks.com order number which
qualified you for the ibeauty offer. They can provide you with a new code.>>

Well, I WAS a Sparks customer, did get the code from them, but I sure didn't keep order numbers from December. Sparks CS won't help either, they haven't responded to any of my emails. So I guess unless you get a magic pass from Sparks, your ibeauty orders were cancelled

Okay, so it's not like it was worth $100 or anything, but I am really peeved about this ibeauty deal. I did qualify!! Now I saw on another deal forum that ibeauty is sending e-mails to people who have complained with a new $10 code. These people are bragging that they didn't deserve the first one and now they get another! I can't find my old order code, so I lose I guess. Frustrating.

Boy- this really is a stinky deal!

Don't know if this will help any, but if you did the signup @ SPARKS, then they will have a record of *all* your purchases w/order numbers. Go to the website, sign in, and then go to "My Sparks". It should show a complete history of all your transactions with them - including all order numbers. I have used this feature myself when I wanted to order a duplicate of an item I'd already gotten. You can actually see every item in each purchase from them by clicking on the order numbers.

If it wasn't so funny, I'd be crying! Sparks has my order numbers and all, but when I asked them for the new code (ibeauty says they don't issue them, only Sparks can give you the replacement - hah, I seem to see ibeauty sending them to SOME people), Sparks says that none of my orders have shipped (!?), so they can't verify that I actually did order. Apparently I need to ask the person I sent them to to scan the dang things so I can send it to Sparks. Never have I gone to so much trouble for so little....

This is interesting - I got 2 $10 GCs from orders at sparks.com (actual paper ones). Made 2 separate orders and about 3 days later got 2 emails saying that both of the items were out of stock and they have no backorder system, so here are replacement gcs. So once again I have 2 $10 gcs. I go back to ibeauty, and make 2 separate orders, and a couple days later I get 2 more emails saying the items I ordered were out of stock, but here are 2 replacement gcs. The problem was, they were $5 GCs. So I emailed them, explained the situation, and they emailed me another $10 gc. I said "great, but what do I do with the $5 ones?" they said I had to use them all on separate orders. So I made 3 orders yesterday. We'll see what happens, but at the moment, I'm filing this under "stinky".

I am so confused with these places. Are they linked somehow? I did get some resolution for my problem from ibeauty cs, they were very helpful after I clarified why I was so upset. Sparks, I have no idea what to do with them. They show me ordering from them several times and the last order was from January and it hasn't been shipped yet, but they don't know why. Good thing my local B&M Hallmark is more reliable! I am afraid to use the personal replacement GC ibeauty sent me, LOL.
