I got a post card today that said, "Unfortunately we could not honor your request due to the following reason: The store where product was purchased is not participating in this rebate program." Well, I ordered the CDRs online from Staples.com and the rebate form said they had to be purchased from Staples stores, Staples.com or Staples Direct. I called the 1-877 # on the rebate form (good thing I had made copies of everything) and somehow finally got connected to a real person. He apologized for the postcard and said since I'm such a good customer he'll send me the $10.I just wanted others to know they can fight this if this happens to them! BTW, if anyone needs the #, it's 1-877-266-6483. __________________ [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

| take it to staples bm
I do a fair amount of ordering online as well as visiting the store. The store employees know me by my first name (not robo) and we have an understanding. I had a few of those postcards and I always take it to them. Most of the time, they give me credit for the rebate amount, but mostly they call up the rebate place and straighten it out. Always keep a copy of what you submit. |

| Re: Staples tried to not honor my Memorex $10 Rebate
Staples will take care of you as long as you don't get hateful. They have several tools that they can use to get rebate situations resolved. Staples as a company is very proud of their rebate program and how issues can be resolved to help customers out. If you can always submit your staples rebates at [URL="http://www.stapleseasyrebates.com"]
