I don't like them. Placed an order last week. Their website promotes Fed-Ex shipping. I received mine USPS...no, I don't have shipping preferences...but if you say one thing, DON'T do another. Then, an item I ordered is shown as being blue in color on the site...what did I get? White... Then, the other item I ordered stated it would have free samples...guess what? NO samples ![]() So...I go to call the site to mention all this to them...their 800# doesn't work. I try their toll number collect...it doesn't accept collect calls. So, I have to use a calling card to call them. I leave a message asking they call me. I get an email today asking how they can help me. (thinks to self...didn't I ask them to call me?) I reply asking AGAIN for them to call me and include my number. This guy calls...RUDE I explain my complaints and state the reasons behind them. He barely listens, interrupts often and then says impatiently "What do you want me to do?" (um...have you not heard that I'm upset and you'd better come up with something good because I'm not happy and really don't feel like ever giving you my money ever again?)Ok...so I mentioned discount/GC...his response... "You have a $2.00 off coupon on the bottom of your invoice. You can use this as much as you want through the end of the year." YIPPIE...$2.00... ![]() Then he brought up the missing samples...I accepted his offer to send me a "boxful" - his words- of samples. Here are the emails received from him...please read bottom up... Ms. Mitchell We are sorry for our error. We will send a Pink Opal Lipgloss and a Black Mascara immediately. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We apologize for any inconvenience. My daughter ordered some items from them a few years back (I'm thinking it was late 2000) and when they got here, they were also not as described on the website. She ordered black mascara & brown eye shadow - shouldn't be too hard to fill, right? Uh.. not for these guys - they sent blue mascara & some garish blue eye shadow to match and to top it off, both were broken. And nope, no freebies as promised, and I also remember she was so mad about the shipping because it took weeks to get here. We emailed & told them that they could either send a prepaid envelope to have the merchandise returned or we were trashing it - their choice - but we were not paying for this. And then I called my credit card company who gladly removed the charges after they tried to contact My Beauty Center and couldn't seem to get any answers either. Bad bad bad merchant! Guess I must be lucky. I did an order from them a long time ago and everything went fine. Everything was fine when I finally unsubscribed from their emails. Odd. I did order from them such a long time ago maybe that made the difference.

I ordered a couple of years ago too b/c of the prices. Felt like I got what I paid for (.99 quality stuff) and the promised freebies weren't there either.
